Gaia Herbs Whole Body Defense, Vegan Liquid Capsules, 60 Count - Daily Immune Support and Wellness Formula, Astragalus, Maitake & Organic Echinacea

This review is for Gaia's Quick Defense product but I use Whole Body Defense daily for immune system maintenance as I am so impressed with how Quick Defense actually kept me from getting my twice yearly sickness that only antibiotics could cure. .For 3 decades I have gotten 2 bacterial infections yearly, sometimes 3, leading to broncitis and only antibiotics could treat them, I tried everything natural and nothing worked. This year a friend with a similar long term problem told me of Gaia Qick Defense and that it had worked for her and for me to try it at the first sign of becoming sick, so I did, 2 times during the early and late Fall of this year. I don't write many reviews but feel I have to share the fact that after suffering all those years and as a vegetarian not liking to take antibiotics, especially 6 packs, this product worked for me. You have to start at earliest indication, mine is sneezing a lot, and I found the result nothing short of miraculous! No one paid me to write this, just sharing, and now have almost a year under my belt of not being sick at all which is not bad for a military retired disabled Vietnam war vet living with 45 years of internal injuries.

Simply amazing. Best immune booster I have ever used. I've been taking this a specific for years and have never had any issues with upset stomach or any other side effect. Very easy to take the pills with water or whatever liquid is on hand. Does not really have a flavor...In my experience works best when taken between meals. Simply, a great product to take when traveling or just to boost the immune system.

Be careful. I only got less than half a bottle 28 pills 💊 . I took 4 pills before I realized I had less than half a bottle I called customer service to get a replacement and now I have to go through the trouble of returning it. I love Gaia products. But I never expected Amazon to do this to me. And the Capsules were half full. The bottle was completely sealed it didn't even look like it was tampered with...that's the scary part 😳

Good product, I haven't been sick in a long time. This is an adjunct to my regular vitamin / supplement routine. I don't consider it "essential" but I think it makes my immune system more robust.Only complaint: WAY overpackaged. The product is a glass jar in a lightweight box. OK. Then that box is in another box with brown kraft paper. OK. Then THAT box is in a box probably 8 X 6 X 16" long ...that has air pack pillows. It's really wasteful and puzzling. Puzzling because: For all the times I've wanted some electronics or Sushi bowls packaged better, why the heck are these * pills * so overpackaged?Anyway, the actual product is good and seems to work.

I have only been taking half the dosage for the last month, but I have not gotten sick this season, and it is possible that it can be the fact that I have been taking this everyday along with other preventatives.

I have been taking one of these every day for the past few weeks and have not come down with any kind of cold (even when exposed to others who are sick). I initially found Gaia Rapid Defense (which is taken on the onset of a cold) and that seemed to help to dramatically reduce the length and severity of the cold. I wanted something more "proactive" to boost my immunity and these seem to help. I am very happy with their products. Their Kid's Herbal Defense drops work well too! A little on the pricey side, I feel it's worth it to lessen symptoms, fight, or prevent colds/flu/etc.
