Great quality cup
Fantastic cup to re-use in the office. It took me a while to chose between bamboo cup or glass and glass won for aesthetics reasons and also quality for life span.I read a lot of reviews for this product and others and I chose to ignore the poor reviews as there is always someone that likes to complain for the sake of it.Solid and weighty quality mug, not as light as my colleagues bamboo mugs but then they wish they bought this once holding it. Rubber lid seals very well and has a lip to clip on to rather than just pressing on loosely. Rubber heat protector on the outside works well and doesn't burn peoples hands as some might say. If the mug is so hot it burns you through rubber and insulated glass, I would say change where you get your coffee as they are burning the coffee or over heating milk!!The seal for the drinking spout works very well, wouldn't seal if you held upside down, but certainly nothing will come out if using to commute and in the cup holder in a car. Even the local barista of a really cool brand in Bournemouth really liked this mug over lots of others and they are all about look and functionality. What more can I say other than glad I spent a little more to get a great product.

"Insulating" handle isn't as insulating as I'd like!
There's a lot to like about this cup. I work in a school where the Head has introduced a rule saying we mustn't carry hot drinks through the corridors unless they're in cups with a lid, so I got on Amazon and read some reviews and this seemed like a good option. I really like the fact that it's made of glass as there is no plastic-y taste to my tea. It's dishwasher-safe - a must for me - and feels durable. My only gripe is that the "insulating handle" (which isn't really a handle but a strip which goes around the middle of the cup) isn't particularly insulating. I find it a bit hot to hold when I've just made a drink in it, so that limits it to four stars for me. Otherwise it's a good cup.

I must say I'm very impressed!
I've been thinking about buying one of these for a while actually...I drink a lot of coffee but started becoming aware recently of all the plastic cups I'm just wasting and throwing into the environment!Enter...MyEcoCup! I wasn't bothered about the color too much as red or black doesn't bother me...but my my...the material was strong, sturdy, and lightweight enough for me to fit into my bag and carry to work with me without an issue at all! I think the easy of use was most important for me..What I really like iss that the glass seems like a unique glassy material...like if I drop it on the floor...it just bounces off and doesn't really do much else...it must be one of those shock absorbing thingy ones I think..I've only been using it for a week but I DO love it so far! And I certainly would recommend it...I haven't tried it with tea yet as I;m more of a coffiholic but I'm sure my partner will be giving that a go soon with some green tea!

Cool travel mug!
THIS is a solid gadget. I have tried so many different travel mugs, they've all either ended up tasting odd, they've ended up broken, lost or they're completely impractical. I actually put this in my bag recently when I was done, so it is portable despite being glass, but it's most effective on my drive to the office and I have never had a travel mug which I like as much at this one, the glass really doesn't get hot so you can hold it and the seal is quite good so there's no leakage from bumps etc, it also doesn't taste weird which is a good start for most travel mugs. The price is a little steep for what it is, but it seems to be a fairly unique product so worth buying as it genuinely has improved my drive and ability to get out the house in a timely manner without morning coffee delays. The design is also quite neat!

Hand cover doesn’t keep cool
I bought this cup for use at work since our HR health & safety gone overkill rules do not allow personnel to walk around the office with mugs of hot drinks, for fear we may scold ourselves or others (as if we are incapable of balance or consideration). So yeah, now we have to purchase at our own expense, reusable lidded drinks cups in order to be able to carry them with us into meeting rooms or other parts of the office building.I woahfully purchased this cup as a result. It’s over priced since the heat shielding cover doesn’t stay cool or prevent the hot glass from burn your hands whilst holding - I’m ironically more likely to scold myself with this cup than a regular mug with handle, which our HR dept is allegedly protecting me from.#worldgonemad #wearetherealmugs #nannystate

Lovely cup - shame about the rubber tyre on the top
I love the cup, the size, the glass, the grip but I don’t love the rubber tyre lid that makes my tea taste ickyIt hasn’t leaked, doesn’t keep my tea any warmer than it would if I had a standard tea cup at home but thats fine for me on the school run & driving to work I just wish the lid wasn’t so rubbery tasting.

Too hot to hold - beware!
I really liked the look of this cup to keep at work. I didn't really notice a change in taste. The lid is OK though could be more insulated as after a short while the hot drinks cooled just the same as if it were any regular cup/mug.The worse things are: the black parts of the cup had a lot of cardboard bits from the box, and didn't look appeasing. The box was plain so not good if want to buy as a gift I. E. No labelling, branding on the box. But what I'm really upset with is that I can't hold my drink because its too hot to hold so the silicone band around the cup also gets hot and today I scalded my fingers. I made my hot drink in it this morning and now at 8pm my fingers are still hurting. I threw the box away at work so doubt I'd get a refund. Stick with my stainless still Bodrum travel mug I think!

Nice shape to hold.
Bought this for my husband who has just stated using it. He likes the glass cup but really doesn’t like the lid as he says it is just not nice to drink from. But overall he is pleased with the cup as he didn’t use the lids of the throw away cups very often anyway.
