8.5 Quart Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Stockpot TOP Standard, Multi-clad Base Induction Cookware, Dishwasher Safe Soup Pot with Lid + 2 Silicone Oven Mitts, 8.5Qt

I had much larger pots, 12 & 16 quart, but needed a smaller size for smaller groups (I loathe pots that are too small) and ordered this after much research. This pot is very well made and heavy duty. My concerns are twofold—-the handles do get warm as does the knob on the lid. I do like the glass top but it is more difficult to clean the lid along the perimeter where the glass and metal band meet. My guess is that it would not meet NSF standards so don’t buy it for restaurant use. This has become my go to pot—-in fact, it’s on the stove, filled with pinto beans right now!

I bought this for home canning. I can a lot of tomato products and the pans I use are stainless steel (the tomatoes stick and scorch) and aluminum which I worry about using with acidic foods so I ordered this pan in hopes that it would be a more healthy alternative without the scorching problem. It works wonderfully. I can cook up a huge batch of jams or tomato sauce rather than splitting it into two, it is deep enough to use for the water bath for pint jars, cleans easily (it does water spot though) and I can be confident that my food is healthy. Can't wait to try it out this winter for soup stock.

I bought this 8 liter pot to go with a three part strainer system I bought for steaming different veggies at once. By chance I started using it for other things as well. Amazingly, I found this pot doesn't allow things to burn like my other (Tri-Ply) pots do. I'm now saving myself so much time and trouble by using this one. It's a great pleasure. I love the size and quality and may order more sizes from this company because they're so good.

This seems to be a pretty nice pan. I've used it quite a bit now, and I haven't had any trouble with it. It is good for an induction stove. No problems there.

Nicely made for the price

Very high quality and much more affordable than any of my other all-clad pots. The size is very good for cooking daily. Last month, I used it a lot and it heats food fast and is easy to clean with my dishwasher. I'm very glad that I bought it.

You can tell this is a very well made pot. I only use stainless steel cookware and this met my expectations. Great Value and I’m happy with my purchase. Easy to clean too.

I tried 3 times to clean this pot after cooking a stew., I even used a magic eraser and couldn't get the stains out. Nothing was burn't in the pot, the food particles are embedded into the pot and it can't be cleaned.
