Havel's4 3/4-inch Snip-Eze Embroidery Snips

Saw these in a recent Threads magazine which looked really substantial and good quality on the picture. However, these are quite flimsy and lightweight. They do cut thread but that's about all. I was hoping they would be more useful based on some of the reviews stated. Just don't expect too much for the money - seems to me like a typical Chinese copy of what could be a good quality item if it was better engineered.

Excellent pair of snips. Sharp. The curved blade has two uses. Firstly it means that I can cut the thread very close to the fabric and secondly I can turn them over to use the points as an extension of my fingers maneuvering the fabric near the sewing machine needle. They are easy to use.This is my second pair. The first lasted for years, actually only breaking through constant use. I cannot recommend them enough.

I love these snips, they are easy to use...no fiddling with finger and thumb holes. Very sharp, thank goodness I found them and makes it easier when sewing Hardanger when the tips have to be so sharp. The delivery was good and arrived before expected date. I will use this store again.
