Learning Theories Simplified: ...and how to apply them to teaching

I borrowed this from a friend and found it so useful., so I got my own copy.It's been so useful, it helped me with a unit on my TA course that I'm currently studying. Yes, I passed that unit!

If you are completing a LEVEL 5 DET or QTLS this is the best book that you could invest in. Gives you so many theories, how to use it in the classroom and easily referencing.

I am currently studying the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training and have found the reading for assignments a struggle. Books on theorists don't tend to be 'gripping'. Bob Bates Learning Theories Simplified has done just that, broken down theory into easy to comprehend chapters, which has been invaluable to my learning journey. It covers a wide range of theorists and models and has been more useful than all the other books I have combined.

A must read not only for teachers! I'd compare it to the Bible - lot of food for thought and a source of inspiration. And also, noone is perfect even famous philosophers

This book was very useful for my Leanring Theory course. I used it for multiple papers. I love its simplicity.

This book has a 2 page spread of dozens of educational philosophers. It's a great place to start some deeper research.
