1600X/1000X 8 LED Portable USB2.0 Zoom Digital Mini Microscope Hand Held Endoscope Camera Magnifier + Stand (1600X)

I got this camera today, and it was missing the guide everyone else mentioned. What I got was the camera, a mini stand (cheapish plastic) and a small CD. I do not have a CD drive, so I had to figure something else out. Someone mentioned that they were able to use their regular photo app, so I tried that on my chromebook. This is just the regular photo app. With the camera plugged in, open the photo app and at the bottom left there will be a small icon that allows you to switch cameras. If you click it, you can switch to the endoscope. Then you don't need to download anything else.I found that the little red buttons "zoom" and "capture" (i think - just going from memory) doesn't actually work for me. I had to manually adjust stuff, but the camera was cheap and I'm not expecting perfection. It's a fun little thing that lets you take halfway decent photos of things. My photos is a closeup of my pants. It's really great detail for the price!!!

So it is not compatible with an android or iphone unless you buy and adaptor. The software comes on a disc. I do not have a disk drive but I figured I could download it someplace. Nope! Cannot find the drivers anyplace. Windows does not recognize it either. I haven't given up on it yet though. Still looking for a solution.

The focus knob didn't work on it, but the seller promptly refunded my money. The image is sharp and detailed, so if I can't figure out how to use it as is, I'll probably order another one. Except for the mechanical problem, which seems pretty trivial (something is jamming the threads or the body of the scope), the microscope works impressively well.

Great product for the price. Don’t expect to get views like that of a $300+ microscope. It’s fun for little kids or just to search out things and see what you can discover. Seller is very nice and responsive.

I really like this USB digital microscope. I used it to help me figure out what was wrong with my LED tv screen pixels. It has so many uses, you'll be amazed at what regular household things look like at high magnification. Gemstones, jewelry, rock collections, skin, pores. wood-grain.
