I know the music is fantastic, but its primarily a CD collection with a couple of vinyls thrown in. For that reason I sent mine back.

Incredible value for money, working out at under £2.50 per CDBigger book format than I realised, with three 3-D pop-out pages and dual English and French biography as well as the bonus of a vinyl discIt might have been better to charge £10 more and have the discs inside stored in plastic to be slightly more durable than paper envelope containers but if one is careful in taking them out and replacing them it should be OK.The material is arranged neither chronologically nor always thematically, though the recordings in English and the concerts at Olympia, Bobino and Carnegie Hall are presented on discrete discsI found it helpful to copy the track listings on Amazon into a spreadsheet so I can now consult an alphabetical index of songs as well as a list of tracks by disc in order to find the item I am looking for

What a fabulous cd box set every thing you want from piaf is in this box set and some very hard to find tracks . the outside box is so thin it ripped but inside is a fab book and all the cd . Its just a magical set from a singer of the century ps and got it half price

Superb set of recordings. Arty packaging lovely to look at but not desperately practical. Could use an English translation of more of the sleeve notes (for those of us that are not fully fluent).

remastering impeccable . a song that was always unmissable got really immortal. He won spatial presence . Beautiful!
