Lucas red "n" tacky grease is a smooth, tacky, red lithium complex grease fortified with rust and oxidation inhibitors. It has good water resistance and washout properties. It has good mechanical stability and storage life. It is able to withstand heavy loads for extended periods of time. It can be used in many agricultural, automotive, and industrial applications. Lucas red "n" tacky grease is fortified with a high degree of extreme pressure additives that give it a true Timken load much higher than other greases of this type. It’s especially good for sliding surfaces and open gears.

It's Red & It's Tacky!
Used for a few years now for Harleys - most places but best for the headstock bearings on Softails. When using a grease gun on the neck this stays put around the bearing dust shields when it squeezes out so it can be wiped away & when it does get warm it doesn't start running out then blowing back all over the motor. It is tacky enough to stay put where most (good brand) greases run out when they get hot - hot days or the heat from the front head.No connection to Lucas except happy customer
