Tissot mens Ballade COSC 316L stainless steel case Swiss automatic Watch, Brown, Leather, 20 (T1084081603700)

This is my first Tissot and I couldn't be more proud to own it. The accuracy is incredible and the looks and sizing is perfect for my 6.75" wrist. I rated this 5 star for the watch alone - I did not care for any factory band minus a few, but can see why others would enjoy the luxurious look to it. Every watch I buy gets a NATO strap so my comments on the factory band are not relevant, as it is subjective. Value for money is something personal for me, and this delivers. It's dressy, classic, and the dial has exceptional amounts of sophistication. Various color bands work well with this, and it is what others would call a strap monster with the 20mm lug width. The ETA movement has a great feeling when interacting with the crown, and it sounds incredible. I've read comments from others that say that it is too noisy of a movement, but for me it's a joy to listen to. Tissot got me hooked with this one and it lead to the purchase of the PRX Chronograph that I still have not received from Tissot. For anyone looking to get a tremendous piece from a brand with lots of history this is a no brainer. Teddy Baldassare has video on Youtube visiting the TISSOT headquarters in Le Locle, Switzerland. In that video he talks about how 1/4 of all watches shipped from Switzerland are Tissot. For anyone on the fence about this price point the watch is absolutely worth it.

Beautiful watch with a high quality movement. To get a COSC certified automatic swiss movement, historically significant brand, sapphire crystal, skeleton back, and an eye catching dial... for around $500. Is the best value I've ever seen. Plus or minus 10 seconds a day accuracy is good for an automatic watch. This one is running at only minus 2 seconds a day.Only negative is lack of antireflective coating on the crystal.The dark brown leather alligator print band is nice but with a 20mm lug width the band options are endless for this watch.

Beautiful dress watch that has great value for money. The texture on the dial and bezel adds some detail that keep it from being boring, but it also doesn't make it too busy. The strap isn't fantastic, but putting it on a black alligator strap and keeping the original butterfly clasp dresses it up even more. Can't go wrong with a Tissot, especially anything containing the Powermatic 80 movement. Accurate, reliable, and an outstanding power reserve means this watch has more to offer under the dial, too. All around great watch, especially for dressy occasions.

YES , What an awesome watch ! I researched and looked at specifications then I ordered my dream watch , I was like a kid on Christmas eve , watching the Amazon tracking like I was watching Santa's sleigh on Norad . AND it finally came , At first glance the box looked fine but after opening the box and not seeing any protective plastic on the dial or the bracelet , I re-looked at box and saw the apparent wear ......My dream watch was running another clue that it had been returned . I did take the watch out to admire the beauty of this fine timepiece and underneath was most of the protective plastic along with the little Tissot logo . It only took me 10 minutes to decide to send it back . At this price point I DESERVE a new watch that had not been returned . However it does not mean that this particular watch is defective because it sure was hard not to keep it , I will re-order soon buyt I am going to think strong on what and when to purchase .

This is a dressy watch. I've made it less-so by adding a brown leather strap and now it works well as an everyday wear watch. The original band is very nice and I would use it for formal occasions. The clasp is solid and very easy to use.Accuracy is very good - about 2.5-3.0 seconds slow per day. While not perfect, no mechanical watch is; I'm very OK with this performance.Would I buy this again? Certainly!

At sub $1K this is a real bargain, with no compromises. Obviously the band needs a bit of wearing to soften up, but after a day it was a smooth fit. This watch is a lot of watch for the money and you not be disappointed. AND Amazon can ship it overnight, so there is no waiting.

I was really looking forward to this one. It arrived with the box in an unpadded bag and the contents in the box were a jumbled mess. I wonder if this one was previously purchased and returned. The watch itself looked fine so I gave it a shot. It looks great, but the band was stiff and felt a bit on the cheap side. No big deal, because those can be easily replaced. I felt the watch was a little off when I initially gave the crown a couple of turns to get the watch going. I set it and 8 hours later... well, let's say it obviously was not within COSC standards, or even close to any of my other automatics. I was really disappointed because I've been wanting to buy this for a while now, but I'll chalk it up to receiving a defective one. I may give it another go in the future.

I ordered both a black and silver dial version of this Ballade watch. The black one came without a tag or the little COSC certificate, so I assume it had been returned at some point, and I returned it. This silver one seems factory new. Both watches were however, +/- 1-2 seconds per day. So, for less than $400 on sale I have an accurate, stylish, COSC-certified Swiss-made automatic watch. UPDATE: 10 months later, it remains the most accurate automatic watch I own—beats the Seikos, Orients, and Hamilton that I have acquired since then. Also realizing that it’s relative thinness is a great advantage for dress shirt days.

Very accurate and good price.January 31,2022. After two months, the watch still really accurate , even not over 1 second different per day. So satisfying.

The combination of the leather strap and dial design makes it look more expensive than it is.One of the rarer models not easily found locallyCOSC certified so expect good time accuracy
