The battery packs work great! I do want to say that as a regular buyer of EL wire, these battery packs are great quality! 9 out of 10 of the colored EL wire strands worked when provided with power. The non working one was red and has a poor connection in the black portion of wire due to being bent sharply in packing.Overall i still recommend this, just check them when you get them.They arrived each color individually packaged with its own battery pack.

Awesome product. Bright, long lasting. Only 1 in the whole bag didn't work. I expected more wouldn't given how cheap they were. I was very impressed. We put them on my bike for a 24 hours mtb relay race. The whole team got a kick out of them. Held up relay well event when hitting drops and chunky sections. The detachable battery pack was great too cause we could leave the string lights section on the bike, but not carry the extra weight during the day. Would buy again for sure. I can see a lot of fun application for the future.

These EL wires are nice and bright using 2 A-batteries with the battery pack each wire comes with. My original order had one wire that didn’t work, it was replaced quickly. Can’t wait to incorporate these into some projects.

Fun package. Battery packs are OK - 2x AA batteries are required. Battery pack button for ON/FAST BLINK/SLOW BLINK.One of the battery packs was broken and unusable. Other than that, everything else was OK.

These worked great for the project that we used them for. The only down side to them was that they make a buzzing sound when they are turned on. Otherwise, they are great.
