I bought two of these, one for the front & back doors to my property where I have cameras. In fact, I've had cameras for years (Google/Nest wifi models). I hadn't personally installed signs because I didn't want to put a big yellow, red or whatever sign on my home. Whilst these aren't small, they're big enough to be read from the curb, but discrete enough not to draw attention to them; most people don't even notice them unless I point them out.Importantly, if you have a CCTV camera and it is pointed in a direction that covers either a) part of public space, and/or b) another person's private property, there's a legal requirement to display a sign flagging that CCTV is being operated. If no one noticed your cameras, no big deal, but neighbours can occasionally be paranoid that they are secretly surveiled.The fact these are made of metal also helps. Where my front door is South facing, printed plastic would face fairly rapidly. I can't speak for how resistant these are to rain because mine is under a porch, do doesn't get wet. If it were to develop surface rust, that's pretty easy to remove. Once cleaned, a simple coating of clear varnish (sprayed or brushed) will stop further rust developing.

The sign is Fine, the accompanying screws are out of a Christmas cracker! they just sheer off they are that soft and poor quality

Does the job

Really well made. Perfect for outdoor use. I didn’t want anything garish as it’s for home use so the usual neon yellow commercial signs would look awful. Will update when they’ve been up for a while but can’t foresee any issues with weathering.
