The plan is easy to follow - you are allowed healthy fats
I am no fan of detox as described in ads that want to sell you some product or other. But Mary's plan to limit your diet for a while, excluding most carbs and dairy, seems to make sense. After the two week period is over, you add gluten and dairy back in slowly and observe how you feel when eating those items before committing to them fully again. The plan is easy to follow - you are allowed healthy fats, loads of veggies and lean proteins - and it has been an easy way for me to jumpstart my weight loss journey.

Simple to follow. Huge benefits
This book is so simple to understand and Mary makes the diet as easy to follow as possible with her recipes. I highly recommend this book and the diet. You will most certainly lose weight at the same time as becoming much healthier in the process!

Solid nutrition advice and accountability
If you are looking for solid nutrition advice to get yourself on a path to a healthier you, you’ve come to the right place. Mary offers a no-nonsense, no-gimmick approach not only to weight loss, but also an ongoing eating strategy that you can easily work into any lifestyle. The book lays it all out for you, but perhaps the most valuable part is the accountability and coaching you’ll receive from Mary to be sure you stay on track. I thought I was eating healthy until I did this program! Just a few tweaks and I am feeling the best I ever have.

As a dietetics student, I wanted the first-hand perspective of what Mrs. Sabat's clients would be undertaking, so I signed up for the Two-Week Detox Plan. I was pleasantly surprised at how informative the plan was! It broke down not only what I would be eating, but also why and what nutritional benefits I would be receiving. I ended up losing 9 pounds and my husband lost 12! I highly recommend the Two-Week Detox Plan to anyone looking to get great results and jumpstart a lifestyle change.

The Perfect JumpStart
Mary's Two Week Detox Plan is the perfect way to jumpstart your journey to getting healthy. Very easy to follow and understand. I refer back to the book often and really enjoy the detox soup.

Excellent plan - easy to follow, great results and leads to sustainable and healthier eating habits.
In short - this plan works very well. The two-week detox plan did for me pretty much what the cover indicates: I lost weight and I feel healthier. I never felt like I was dieting. There is plenty to eat. The food is just much healthier and less caloric, while still tasting great. The result is you don't put it back on like other failed diets. After finishing the plan, I signed on for a personalized diet plan with the author. So, there's no feeling of "ok, I lost 12 pounds and now what?". It's a smooth transition from the two-week plan to a sustainable, realistic long term "diet/nutrition change". I'll highly recommend this book to anyone who is serious about getting healthier, feeling better and shedding pounds. The author is very knowledgeable and accessible. This has really worked for me and I've not had luck with previous diet plans and attempts to lose weight. Best of luck. One last thing - I don't normally review anything online, but this author deserves a review for the way she's improved my health.

Excellent Plan for Setting up great nutrition
I love this book and plan. I use the information every year to help me get back on track or during the year just to reset my nutrition. Mary has don an excellent job of making it easy to understand and use.

Healthier, Thinner, Energized and Eating (FINALLY) food that tastes delicious!!!!
Excellent detox plan with great results!!! After following this plan I lost 7 pounds in 2 weeks. I really did this as a way to feel better, eat healthier and basically see if this was the plan for me. I had a friend that followed Mary's plan to lose weight, but she also told me she felt energized and healthier. I was not in this to lose weight. I wanted to feel better!!!! In the past, This was not my first rodeo either!!!! This is a great way to jump start your body, whether it is weight loss, health issues or like me, wanting to feel good. Oh and the best part is.......The food is AMAZING!!! The recipes taste great and now are incorporated into my everyday lifestyle. Thank you Mary Sabat for making me feel good again!Kim/Atlanta, GA
