States and Capitals Songs

I use this with my first and second grade students. I also use the World Geography by the same author. Great fun and perfect for the Grammar Stage (Classical Education). Students love it and learn while having fun.

My kids grew up learning their States and Capitals with this CD (we can still sing the songs), and now I have purchased it for my grandson. He loves to sing along!

AMAZING way to learn all the states plus their capitals. Catchy tunes, plus they sing them in order of location making labeling a map easy and fluid for kids.

This CD of songs is the best way to learn states and capitals! We wore out our first CD with our now adult children, so I needed a fresh copy for the younger one. Beware, adults! You will wake up with these catchy songs pestering you in your sleep! Haha! The songs sing the states and capitals along the borders, then the middle. Your kids don't even have to try, but the blackline masters help with learning to spell them all.

Disappointed- not nearly as well done as I hoped based on reviews. My daughters found it catchy but it was not pleasant or clever enough to merit listening repeatedly. Perhaps a good resource for some, but did not live up to expectations based on glowing reviews, especially considering that it wasn’t cheap. I would not purchase again.

As a homeschooling family, I thought this would be a fun addition for learning the states and capitals. My 8 year old has only listened to it twice, both times in the car, and she is already impressing daddy with her knowledge. Though the songs are not *great*, they are catchy, and, thankfully, not annoying. I highly recommend.

This cd is an excellent tool for teaching little ones the states as well as the capitals. My children love this cd and the poster that comes with is a nice additional touch. The songs are very catchy and they've helped my four year old to learn most of the states and capitals. A great resource :)

A good way to teach states and capitals. Wish the map was smaller to be copied and used frequently by the kids. I think my class will benefit greatly from these tunes connected to states and capitals.
