Teknor Apex NeverKink 7612-25, Boat and Camper, Drinking Water Safe Hose, 1/2-Inch by 25-Feet Hose

Bought this hose in 2015. Its 2023, I’m just now replacing one of the connector ends. Definitely worth the price

This hose is the perfect accessory for my pool filter Drain / Valve. Basically, when my pool fills up a little more than I like after a big rain ... I keep this hose attached to a spigot on the bottom of the filter. The hose is easy to handle at 25" and is rigid enough to prevent kinks.I just ordered the 50 footer to keep by the pool (to add water and water some plants). The fact that it is easy to handle - for the most part - makes it a winner. We have tried several of the pocket hoses with no luck of them lasting beyond a few weeks. Bummer. This NeverKink hose is a nice compromise between the pocket hose and the regular green hose. It seems lighter and more rigid = less kinking.They work. Looking forward to putting the 50 footer to work.

This house is of good quality and certainly stronger than the green ones offered last year . However it is very short. If you are good with figuring out distance, read how long they say it is and you're set. If you're like me and it doesn't mean anything to hear how many feet it is, I will simply say this, it is best used if you own a small porch like what you would see on an apartment. It is not meant to water plants on a long deck, because it definitely will not stretch that far. As far as water flow goes, it works just fine and I have had no problems with thinking or leeks. I haven't used it very much this summer but I'm not anticipating any difficulties.

This hose finally solved my problem. My top criteria was a hose that did not kink and the name says it all. The hose itself feels soft and supple and I leave mine outside in the california weather. I use it for my garden since it does not have any chemicals that can leach out.The PREVIOUS hose I had I totally HATED because i would end up fighting and stretching it just to get it where I needed it to go then when I finally did it had more than 1 kink along the way and stopped the water flow.I couldnt take it anymore so I switched to this brand and I am ecstatic and can whole hardheartedly recommend this hose to any gardeners out there. No kinks at all as the name says and it is easy to roll up. I am actually going to buy a longer one next.

I have only been using this for a few months but it has worked very well for me. I am always pulling it out and putting it away and still has held its neverkink quality. The hose is very durable and I have had no issues with water leaking at the attachments. Before you order make sure that 25 feet will work for you. 25 ft sounds like a lot but if you are washing cars with it, the hose can fall short. I made that mistake and have to of these connected together for a total of 50 ft and I love them. Best hose I have ever used. Ever other hose I have ever used always kinks up, but not this one.

Something must have been wrong with mine. I had to return it. It leaked badly around the coupling that goes to the faucet no matter how tight I made it. My old garden hose doesn't do that.Update: I'm retracting the 1 star and giving it 4. I bought another hose locally and it also leaked. It's obviously the washer or another issue rather than the hose. The Apex house looked great. The only thing I didn't like was the plastic by the coupling where it connects to the faucet.

I had the pleasure of using this hose within days of it's arrival. Water coming from it does not have a plastic smell or "rubber taste", it is clean, clear water.This hose is a bit thinner than my previous hose, and while it may not KINK when it is stretched out, it does collapse if you get it in a bind or around a tight corner. I had it running around a 90-deg corner, and after pressure was released, the hose collapsed in on itself. When pressure was restored, the collapsed portion could not restore it's shape until I physically straightened the hose.I'm sure the 5/8" hose may do better (my old hose was 5/8"), and this one does it's job... just be aware the walls are thin and it will "pinch" when you get it into a bind or around a harsh corner.

This is probably my favorite hose because it's drinking water safe, made in the USA, and has the "Thum Thing coupling for easier attachment to the faucet".I also like that it's only 25 feet long so it's not unwieldy. It also doesn't kink.I actually use it for my backyard because I don't need a long hose and I often use it to fill bird baths with bathing and drinking water for the birds.
