I like what I see with this item but have not used it as it was bought as an Xmas present - I have got going early this year!! I have checked everything in the packpack thouroghly, everything was in excellent condition with no breakages.Quality of backpack - this is made of strong material, that appears to be of a high quality. I sent for the green version of this set and it is verging on being bottle green - a colour that is probably better for the male member of the family for which is was purchased. I think the red or blue could have been a bit bright.Picnic items/accessories - On opening the section that contains all the picnic items, it is very cleverly put together with an economic use of space. The knives, forks, spoons and melamine plates are of a high standard,I am certain they will stand a great deal of wear and tear. (Just a small point - for myself I would have liked there to have been some teaspoons to make tea, coffee etc or to use with food such as yoghurts). The glasses are made of plastic, only to be expected in a backpack - but all the edges are smooth and the plastic material is sturdy. The mugs are made of stainless steel with plastic handles. I have found it very difficult to fit all four mugs inside the backpack at the base of the glasses, the impression I gained from the picture with the details was that was where the mugs should go. However this appears to be impossible as the mugs are too large to fit four in this way. - two were loose when it was delivered and I have found it best to place them inside the section for the food. This meant placing the flask elsewhere, however it does fit snugly inside one of the insulated bottle holders, which are easy to detach from and reattach to the rucksack. All the other smaller items were there and appear to be of good quality.Food boxes - there are two of these and they are quite small for four people. The section that holds the boxes is insulated, so should prevent sandwiches etc becoming spoilt if the pack is carried on the back on sunny days.I am pleased with the quality and finish of this and will be very pleased to give it as an Xmas present.

I bought this because it was the only one I could find that had both Glasses and Mugs, and is for four people. It was a good purchase. The contents is all very good quality. The mugs are particularly thick and strong (I had another one from enough brand that split. These ones don't look like that would ever happen.) It has everything that is needed.It's nice that the side pockets are detachable so you can get rid of them if you only want the flask (for winter), only the wine bottle (for summer) or both.It is heavy (especially with food in it), it isn't meant for a proper hike. It has enough kit for four people, so is bound to be heavy. But it's great for putting in the car and then carrying to a picnic spot.Minor issues with the Set -- As others have said, the Mugs do not all actually fit in the main cutlery compartment. Two of them need to go into the food compartment. Not a major problem.- There is no Bottle Stopper. (There are others from the same brand for which you can see a space for a Bottle Stopper in the photos. This doesn't have the designated strap to hold it. Therefore the listing is slightly incorrect.)- The chopping board is made from pretty soft wood.Minor issues with Delivery -The set I was sent only contained 2 mugs. I reported this and instead of sending the Mugs Amazon sent out an entire replacement and told me to take 2 mugs out of it and return it. The replacement had all the items listed (except the Bottle Stopper) so I sent back the original. I live outside the UK, and Amazon paid for the return, so that cost Amazon a lot (it's a heavy bag) and was a bit of a pain for me. It would have been easier to send just the Mugs. Also, there is a bag out there with only 2 mugs in it, which I'm sure will be sent out again!

Quite pricey for a picnic set but I wanted one that had both mugs and glasses and double bottle carrier capacity. Nice well made bag but impossible to fit the mugs in the way pictured and find the compartment for your actual picnic is fairly limited given it's a 4 person set. Also doesn't seem to have anoicnic blanket attachment that I can find which the super deluxe is advertised as having which is a shame but can attach to the bottle carrier clips instead. It definitely durable and keeps everything in one place.

After a bit of research this is the picnic backpack I finally went for. I'm so glad I did. The price was right, the build quality is excellent as are the contents. It certainly seems like it will last a long time which is more than I can say for our previous backpack which lasted less than one summer.My wife loves it and we have used it several times already.

I was apprehensive at first to purchase due to the price, but after reading all of the positive reviews I thought I would go for it and I was not disappointed. This packabck has everything a luxury picnic hamper has and more. I was extremely surprised by the high quality of all of the additional bits provided and the thing I love most about this is comparison to a hamper is that while you have all of the room and luxury of a hamper, you dont have the awkward bulk of lugging it about. The backpack is very comfortable on and will be perfect for picnicking while exploring. Absolutely delighted with this purchase.

An excellent set good quality and everything you need. As others have said it is a bit on the expensive side but we have used it a couple of times now and love it. I have not found it uncomfortable to carry, even with two full flasks. The cups do not fit as displayed but you can get three side by side. We would recommend it.

I am thinking of ordering a spare. The bag is great, and the contents are really good quality too. small sandwich boxes dont really add to the experience, and can be sourced almost everywhere, the only slight disappointment.

Der Picknickrucksack kam toll verpackt einen Tag nach Bestellung an. Er ist unglaublich durchdacht. Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden was man für Picknick bei einem Ausflug, Autofahrtpausen usw benötigt.Einziges Manko ist, dass die Tassen für Heissgetränke nicht, wie auf der Abbildung gezeigt in die vier Halterungen zusammen mit den Weingläsern passt. Dies ist aufgrund der Griffe an den Tassen schwierig. Dennoch kein Punkteabzug, aufgrund der nützlichen Einzelteile & die durchdachten Details in toller Qualität. Es ist alles genauso funktional, wie beschrieben. Unglaublich, auf so wenig Raum, so viel unterzubringen. Und wunderschön !Ich wollte immer sowas, hätte nicht gedacht, das Geschmack, Qualität & Funktionalität für den Preis möglich ist. Bin sehr glücklich über den Kauf! Wenn man kein Plastikgeschirr will ist es nicht geeignet. Aber als Bootsgeschirr Kundin, sehe ich, dass die Qualität super ist.

Très pratique pour les pique-niques. Petit bémol pour les verres à pied qui ne sont pas nécessaires.

Vor die Wahl gestellt: Korb oder Rucksack ? fällt die Wahl zuerst auf einen Picknickkorb - sieht schöner aus, wirkt romantischer, es gibt eine größere Auswahl. Bei näherem hinsehen zur tatsächlichen Verwendung fiel die Wahl dann auf den Rucksack. Der Transport ist viel einfacher und am und im Rucksack lassen sich einfach noch ergänzende Dinge unterbringen. Der gelieferte Rucksack ist gut verarbeitet und enthält die wichtigsten Teile für ein Picknick in guter Qualität. Alles ist aufgeräumt und sicher verstaut und es verbleibt genügend Platzt für individuelle Ergänzungen. Gute Lösung u. A. weil beide Hände während des Transports freibleiben.
