Pet QwerksBlinky Babble Ball - Flashing Interactive Dog Toy - Large

Our Brindle Boxer absolutely loves this toy! We got one of the small babble balls from a friend and "Baron" took right to it. Very funny watching him, once he realized that when he bumped or otherwise jostled it, it would talk!After about an hour of him tossing and "nosing" it around (not bad on carpet but on our hardwood floors, it can get a little grating), he started chewing on it. We're like, "OK, here we go, how long is this thing going to last now?". To our surprise, it's holding up pretty well. He's a chewer that can really munch down when he gets into a "groove" and it is taking a beating although it is not indestructible so keep an eye on it.There are 2 screws that hold the door in, which is crafted very well but be sure they are always in there tight. To avoid any issues, once we replaced the batteries the 1st time, we took out the screws and glued the door in and left the screws out. By the time the batteries are dead this time, the ball will be ready to throw out for sure. Not bad for longevity IMHO. Our dogs can chew a Kong ball up in a couple days once they get a crack in it. if there's a weak point on a dog toy, our dog will find it!....:-)Our other dog is Dusty, our yellow lab. Sweet loving dog with that "lab" mentality", all love and slobber :-)He looks at the Babble ball with mild amusement and walks on past it. Every once in awhile, he'll pick it up but that's usually only a ploy he uses when we're petting the "other one" (A name, we're sure Dusty uses when he refers to Baron). I imagine he would actually like this toy more, had Baron not taken it and cuddled it like his own new born baby the second it hit the floor and commandeered the 2nd one just as fast!! :-)The Small size one (A little larger than a golf ball) has ridges on it and takes a beating. Once it started looking haggard and the batteries started to die, we would put it up and only bring it out for short periods to prolong the life of it until we could find where these were sold. Baron had become "addicted to the darn thing! :-) He would whine and stare at it on the shelf for what seemed like hours until one of us would get it down and give it to him. Since the small one seemed just "bit small" for our Boxer for our tastes and surely too small for our lab, we decided to get the next size up. The Medium one has a smooth surface which also holds up very well although, that once "smooth surface", will start to resemble a Tennis ball after a while but it takes a licking and keeps on ticking!The "Talking" is amusing for us for about the 1st hour but it is a little loud with fresh batteries and can be annoying when watching TV or talking on the phone. After about a week though, the batteries start to drain some and the volume goes down a bit. Baron will only pick it up a few times a day from there on out so when he gets in the mood, he'll toss it around for about 15 minutes then leave it alone for a while. I can work with that. :-)All in all,We are impressed with the quality AND the "FUN FACTOR" for both us, and our Puppies!We're Babble ball fans for life! “Annie”loves this ball. It provides lots of entertainment for her, she can’t get enough! The down side it is noisy 😉. It is fun to watch when the battery runs out. She does not understand 🤣🤣. I highly recommend this great toy!

My blind dachshund loves to play fetch but has a hard time finding of the ball stops. Love the noise and she finds it easier. However the plastic is too hard and she doesn't like the feel. I have been working on putting it in a softer ball she will like to play with.

I got this for my pup who is very hard to entertain unless a human hand is connected to her toy! This talking ball does the trick. It’s great because it is motion sensitive, so when she leaves it alone, I don’t have to turn it off, it just sits quietly until she approaches it again. Very durable, great price, lots of entertainment value!

You can’t see it from the picture but after 6 weeks this thing still lights up and makes noise as well as it did on day one. It is still one of my dogs go to toys. I was fostering a pit bull mix whose mission in life was to “kill” anything that made noise and boy did she try. This is the only interactive toy that survived her stay. You can see how chewed up this thing is but she didn’t manage to crack it. I was rolling it around gingerly at first afraid of breaking it but now I just toss it on the hard wood floor like any other ball.

My friend’s French bulldog, is obsessed with this toy. She played with it after the batteries went out, so I hoped my 70 & 60 lb pound pit bulls would like it as well. Nope. One is terrified of all the noises (especially the guy going “No no no!”) and the other wasn’t a fan either. He kept turning his head like, “Nope!” (but based on my friend’s French bulldog’s reaction, your dogs might love it!) We’d already removed the plastic piece that pulls out to keep it silent so there is no way to be able to shut off the noises after that so we decided to keep it. (If we had returned it, it would’ve been making noise the entire way back, and we figured it might scare the postal workers.) So we kept it for ourselves, and have it on the kitchen counter. The minute there is any motion in the air, the thing goes off, but it makes us laugh so hard with the funny music and different voices. So a dog toy turned in to a human toy of sorts. It keeps us smiling. Too bad the manufacturer couldn’t have added an on/off switch as this thing is extremely sensitive to motion. Even if it’s sitting on the counter, if you walk by, it’s going to go off. Battery is apparently replaceable if you can get it open; I haven’t tried as it’s still going strong.

I have a chiwinee who usually gets scarred by the interactive balls/toys but I wanted something to keep her entertained when she wants to play but I don't have time at the moment. I wasn't hopeful but for some reason this one didn't scare her and she loves to pounce on it and watch it shoot away from her as it lights up and makes sound. It's Hilarious!

This ball is a great time. It is hard plastic, so it makes a lot of noise as it is herded around the room - and not just the babbling, but the banging into walls. My German Shepherd absolutely enjoys it. In fact, he is so obsessed that I need to hide it to give him a break. The batteries don't last very long but they are replaceable. I've seen other reviewers who put this ball into another cage type ball or sock as a buffer. That is totally doable if desired. I didn't have any problems with my dog biting hard enough to break it apart, but he understands "gentle" and plays well with toys like this. This ball made a great addition to our ball collection. I highly recommend it, but you need to know your dog for it to be a great toy.

I have a twenty pound wired haired dachshund who is very destructive. I have bought so many different giggle balls for her, and within a couple of days they are ruined. She eats through the plastic, and somehow is able to get out the things that make them giggle.I purchased one of these balls a couple of weeks ago, and she isn’t able to eat through it. Although it did fall off our deck, landed on some large stones, and will not make noise anymore.I just ordered 2 more of them. One just in case it happens again, so we have a back up one.She goes nuts for this ball, just insane. It keeps her occupied for hours, which is a good thing. I would highly recommend this ball.
