Count Arthur Strong: The Complete Series 1-3

I've been following Count Arthur for years.His bumbling lifestyle is so funny. And some of the expressions and phrases he uses are so lifelike.

I found this very funny great choice to watch and enjoy

Classic comedy from the Counts three series. Series one with the original writing team the best but in reality all good. If you want a cleverly crafted comedy then this makes for perfect viewing

Count Arthur Strong is (in my opinion) the best sitcom the BBC has produced for years. Here you get all three series bundled in one package. Some of the episodes I am certain will go down in the comedy hall of fame - like the flying lesson (The Day The Clocks Went Back) , Arthur the Hat, We're Listening (where Arthur loses his hearing and stands for election under the banner "we're listening"), and Doctor Two (where Arthur proves he CAN act) being just a few examples among the many candidates in this series that demonstrate the comedy genius behind Count Arthur Strong.Set aside a weekend once you open the cellophane on this package because once you start, you will willingly or unwillingly binge-watch the whole lot. After all, as Count Arthur himself put it "oh come on, its not as if you have anything better to do!". The first person who comments on this review with the episode title from which this quote comes get a free copy of this DVD from me!On a sad note, having produced its best comedy for years, the BBC dropped Count Arthur Strong so there will be no series 4.

Like most TV shows some episodes are better than others but overall Count Arthur Strong DVD is a must have.

Tragically underrated show that delivers consistently brilliant comedy each and every episode. Do yourself a favourand watch it....I really do!!

I have to accept that Count Arthur might not be everyones cup of tea, but for me, the 'Count Arthur experience' came quite late in life. But what a time I have had! The word 'unique' is overused, but it is entirely applicable to the three TV series. Packed with what I call 'excruciating fun', well written and without an over-reliance on slapstick, this is the set of DVDs I keep in the cupboard for those rainy depressing days. Count Arthur is well supported in his quest to achieve alternative humour without recourse to smut or degradation. Well cast and with story lines that are very heartwarming and funny. What a pity the series stopped at number three! I thought that I'd never find comedy as good as we saw in the Dad's army era. But Arthur has reinvigoriated British comedy. Well done everyone who is responsible for this marvellous show.

It's really funny, and it's a bargain. If you like good old fashioned slapstick without all the pseudo clever attempts at humour, then buy this and be entertained
