Medelco 10 Cup Glass Eurostyle Universal Replacement Carafe - Black

It's a good replacement for the original carafe. That carafe broke very easily (we'd replaced it before when it broke from what I thought was an over-zealous hand washing (not me, I swear!). This carafe also has very thin glass so I don't know how long it'll hold up but it's doing it's job in the meantime.

Broke my Braun garage after having it for decades 😖. Scoured the web for a replacement. Only authentic one was about $100!! This looked like it would work and it does! The design is not as nice as the original and the handle not as comfortable, but considering we only use this when making coffee for a dinner party, it will work fine. It fits like it was made for the unit; you can’t go wrong if you have the same Braun as the one in the photo.

I liked my old one better because top came off. Not connected to pot.

I have the Smeg coffee maker that no longer makes replacement carafes. Grr. This pot does not reach the height needed to depress the filter cone housing “button” in order fill the pot. So I had to MacGyver a rubber band around the housing to pull the button up and release the liquid into the pot. It works fine. Clearly not ideal though. Shrug.

This is the only universal carafe I could find anywhere, and it is the only one that fit in my machine, but it still rocks, and I'm just going to use it as a backup.

This is the only carafe I have been able to find that fits my coffee maker. This is the second one I have bought. Both had flimsy tops and the hinge on the first one broke. I continued to use it until a crack appeared in the carafe so I ordered a second one. Not sure what caused the crack or the broken hinge in the first carafe but things happen. The lid is definitely more flimsy than the lid in the original carafe and the heat warps it so that you have to hold it down to slide the carafe under the coffeemaker basket.

It’s just a tad smaller than the original coffee pot. It requires for me to push it all the way to the back, sitting slightly off the stand/slot for it to trigger the coffee to drip into the pot.

I purchased this carafe as a replacement for the original carafe that came with a coffee maker at least ten years old. The carafe is certainly functional. It is glass, and the market seems to have moved away from glass carafes. The carafe is attractive and fits the coffee maker, but ten cups is the absolute full point for the container; there is no wasted space here. The biggest problem with the carafe is that, when I pour coffee, some invariably spills over the side. The problem seems to occur whether the carafe is full or half empty. Other carafes I have tried seem to have the same problem, which I know was not as prevalent in coffee carafes ten years ago. Clearly manufacturers have adopted some new design or manufacturing process for which the container's pour spout is too shallow and too flush with the top of the carafe. The result is that users had better be standing over a sink when they pour from this or most other coffee carafes. I cannot complain too much: I broke the original carafe (with which I never had this problem). But things DO break, and it would be nice, in our consumer culture, if I could get a replacement that functioned even half as well as the original.

Just what you expect. It fit my Braun maker from the 1990's which was sweet.

I expected it to perform this well.The handle is installed a bit off center, but since I cannot move it into correct place, that's a good thing.Like all carafes, spills when you tip it too far.

Fits the Braun Aromaster drip coffeemaker and does the job, but not as good as the original carafe.
