Easy Control of Time for BBQ
Large numbers, countdown, count time, and all the timings necessary at the BBQ. And, it is magnetic so it clings to the metal on the door (away from the heat). Excellent and loud timer. You can stop the timer and then continue on. Great price too.

Good Timer Alert!
Love this timer! Got it for my husband who can't hear the timer on the microwave or oven. He can take this time with him when he goes to watch his favorite tv programs & not let his food burn in the oven. Easy to set minutes & seconds; When timer beeps it sounds like an alarm clock. I also love this timer to use when playing board games with my grand sons. i.e., scrabble, can set timer each time a player starts his turn. Very handy. Definitely recommend.

Automatically returns to previous setting when you hit the stop button!!!!!
For me the most important feature of a kitchen timer is that it automatically return to the previous setting when I hit the stop button, which this one does! I often use a timer during the final stages of baking brownies or banana bread. I like to have the timer go off after 5 minutes, test if done with toothpick, if not done start another 5 minutes, and I don't want to have to reset the 5 minutes after every test. This timer automatically returns to 5 minutes when I hit the stop button! That's the way a timer is supposed to work! It's too bad very few companies making timers realize that simple fact. The only negative thus far is the magnet seems weak, but I've attached it to the front of my refrigerator and it seems to be working just fine. One advantage to a weak magnet is it's easier to remove from the refrigerator in case you want to use it in a different location. The stand seems sturdy. And it comes with a battery included.I liked it so much I ordered a second one but I had to return it because the magnet was not securely attached to the back of the timer and it stayed on the refrigerator when I removed the timer from the refrigerator, so quality control might be an issue with this timer. Overall I still think it's a good timer but I dropped my rating by 1 star due to the issue with the second one I bought. For a few dollars more I also purchased a Wrenwane timer. It also returns to the previous setting when you hit the stop button after the timer goes off. It has a couple of advantages over the Borminy. It has 2 strong magnets and it doesn't beep every time you hit a key when setting the time, only when the timer goes off! Wrenwane doesn't include a battery like Borminy does. Some day I hope to find the perfect timer which, along with min, sec, and start/stop buttons, will also have hour and reset buttons, won't beep when you hit keys to set times, will have strong magnets for secure mounting on refrigerators, and WILL AUTOMATICALLY RETURN TO PREVIOUS SETTING WHEN TIMER GOES OFF AND YOU HIT STOP BUTTON!.

Great little kitchen timer!
This is a great little kitchen timer for the price. The numbers are very large and easy to read, it is simple to set, and there is a convenient magnet on the back, enabling the timer to be attached to your oven so you don’t misplace it when the beeping occurs to let you know that the time is expired. A very good value!

functions as expected, but hard to read numbers if not at the perfect angle
I bought this to use with my 2yo to help with taking a bath, getting out of bed, playtime, outside time, etc...The timer is really easy to set and clear/reset. When it goes off, it's a good volume.I'm going to have to buy another one though because the screen/numbers are really difficult to read unless the timer is sitting at the perfect angle. I'm trying to teach my son to read the numbers and be able to predict the ending of fun things (with less tantrums). It works because he's able to hear the timer, but (1) I have to get up to get at the right angle to see how much time is left, and (2) there is no way he can learn from it because there is no way he can read it.In short, if you need it for cooking or something where you just set it and forget it, it works fine, but if you need to be able to see the time left you may need to keep looking.

Best timer I've ever owned
I've operated a cookie business from my home for the past 27 years and have bought a lot of timers over the years. I like this one so much - I just ordered a second one to use when I am practicing the piano. Since I've just had it for a week I can't rate it for battery life or durability. What I like best is the two position options - magnet and kick stand. Also like the BIG numbers which make it easy to see. And while the beeper is loud enough it is not offensive.

Timer makes battery go dead
The timer doesn’t turn-off. If the timer is on all the time it will make the batteries dead

Exactly What I Was Looking For...Except
The timer is just the right size with big, easy to use buttons and big easy to read numbers. The buzzer gets your attention without being annoying. However, if, like me, you were particularly looking for a timer with a magnet to attach it to something metallic...keep looking. There *is* a magnet, but it’s not large enough or powerful enough to hold up the timer.I’ll deal.UPDATE: Only lasted six months. Tried changing batteries. Nope. Definitely dead.
