I bought this as I had loved a similar blend sold in the Cragg Sisters tea room, and this is pretty much identical. Excellent blend of spices with a hint of rose.

Worth being patient with, flavour develops into a warming and stimulating drink. We live in the Hebrides and when the weather gets wild a place in front of the fire with a warming drink ( that does not intoxicate ) makes a very pleasant change, so very highly recommended.

I would recommend this tea to anyone looking for a caffine-free alternative. The flavours are subtle but clear. I allowed it to brew for longer than recommended, as I enjoyed a stronger flavour.

If you like liquorish, you will love it! It's very gentle, kind of like liquid balm to your mouth and tastebuds. It has a naturally sweet flavour, which stays in your mouth long after drinking, but it's more interesting than a plain liquorish tea, because it has cinnamon and other spices, so there is a bit of a 'bite' to it. Very refreshing, very recommended.
