it is quite nice.
This was actually for a friend, who likes it a lot. I was not aware that the seeds were that small though...otherwise, it is quite nice.

Strong scent...
[I've had my rudraksha now for about a week, my rudraksha got wet from water (I have a terminally ill son and sometimes diaper changes become messy so I had to run water over the rudraksha) and now they have a very strong smell it is not pleasant at all has anyone else experienced this I tried Google search but found nothing about this I cannot wear them becuase the smell is too strong I tried soaking them but the smell is still there, any suggestions would be appreciated] I just received my necklace it came sooner than expected. The mala came in a green mesh bag that was packaged in a small plastic container along side a gold ornament as a complementary gift inside a small plastic bag that also contained a typed thank you. The red threading is more fine than displayed in the picture and you can see the white thread used to actually bead the necklace through the red thread which is fine with me it adds a bit of character. It is recommended to soak the mala in olive oil over night and I just put mine in a bowl to soak. I plan to wear mine as a bracelet my wrist is a "smedium" size and the mala only wraps around three times comfortably leaving it quite loose as a bracelet. The mala has a scent also, I saw some people soak theirs in sandalwood oil to give it that scent but I only had olive so...

it's fine, but with a few things to note
a few complaints I have about this product.- the chord the beads are on is very thin. when it arrived, the chord was frayed just above the tassel and only has about 2 fibers holding it together- the beads are nice; however, I wore them around my neck (against my bare skin) and they left a very noticeable orange/yellow stain on my skin right under where they rested. I was sweating a bit while I wore them, and I'm certain the moisture caused the bleeding of colour. I am not sure how it would effect clothing or how regular water would react differently, just be careful of stains on nice shirts or whatever else.- the tassel isn't nearly as nice as it appears in the picture. it is about a quarter of the size and fullness of the one in the picture. it looks like it was taken from a fishing lure.I may end up taking the beads and restringing them on something stronger. depending on the price, it may be more beneficial to buy loose beads and make your own mala.

Udraksha Rudraksh? Or plastic beads?
Seems like they are painted beads. Not entirely sure if they're even legitimate. It may be possible that they are some sort of plastic. May go through Amazon and ask for some sort of confirmation before I have this on my neck and get some goofy cancer 5 years from now because they used a crap dye. The presence of the black irregularity on one head makes me think they may be legitimate and are just sprayed to look nice. In that case I rescind any bad review, but gotta contact the seller in that case.Edit: They are legitimate, but the presence of the heavy dye is a big red flag. Everything was soaked in luke warm water then "cleaned" with coconut oil in the liquid state. Doesn't stain skin now and color irregularity between beads is more regular.Pictures are of the soak in like warm water to test for the presence of paint/dye.

I really like it, the tassel came off right away, but I still use it.

I don't know why i expected better quality for such a cheap price
its dyed with some orange paint that will stain your skin and clothes.... after washing it under hot water for a while it started to smell really weird, not sure if its the paint that smells or the beads... Once they dried they changed color to more natural brown and that strong unpleasant smell faded a little... Not 100% sure it real rudraksha beads... But nice for being so cheap
