Works well when new, but membrane valves very fragile
Works great when new, especially when used with some saline spray to loosen the mucus up. However, I am only giving 3 stars since the parts are too delicate for something that needs to be used and taken apart for washing constantly when the baby has a cold. I have 2 of these and both doesn't work very well anymore since the tiny membrane that prevents black flow wouldn't stay flat anymore and the mucus ends up being squirted back into the baby's nose. It would be a 5 star product if this piece was more durable or if extra pieces were included. Otherwise, it would be too expensive to replace with a new unit every cold.

There are better options, even the standard bulbs are better.
I bought it as a Lightning Deal figuring if it didn't work I'd just return it. It didn't work, but I failed to see that return shipping wasn't included, so shipping it back isn't worth the $3. Coincidently, $3 is what the Cozy Baby Nasal Aspirator cost me at the same time I ordered this, but it does work. When I got this I decided to cut open our old standard issue bulb style aspirator to see if it had mold and crud, but after 8 months of use it was totally clean. The people that cut theirs open and post pictures of the gross inside must not wash theirs after each use. This is important because it shows the regular bulbs are simple enough to keep clean without any sort of dis-assembly of small parts that can be lost. This makes the idea of a constant suction the only real benefit to this design, but the design is flawed. The bulb is not big enough to create a strong enough suction immediately after insertion; meaning you have to try to keep a good seal around the nostril of a squirming baby while the suction builds. The good old fashioned bulb aspirator trumps it again because I can get in and out multiple times, with more progress than trying to maintain a good seal while building suction. One other design feature that should be re-evaluated is the nose probe, it is long and skinny, needing to be inserted into the nostril before the cone portion makes a seal. I found it too long and so did the baby. I'll stick to designs that seal at the opening of the nostril without having a probe that extends into the nostril.Edited to be more constructive.

Best nasal aspirator I have tried!
Greatest nasal aspirator you will ever use. My husband and I have been joking for the full 9 months of our child's life that all the simple nasal aspirators suck at sucking! My poor baby would cry seeing that thing because we would continuously try and fail to clear his congestion with them. Then one day we forgot to clean it right away, so when I saw it the next day and tried to clean it, black stuff squirted out and I immediately threw it in the trash. Having to buy a new one I was determined to get something better. I couldn't stomach the idea of sucking boogers out with my mouth, so those ones were out. That's when I saw this one. Even though it is considerable more expensive than the couple bucks or free ones we have used, I decided to try. Worth every penny! First it is amazing because you can clean it easily and see that it is actually clean since it comes apart. The power behind it is amazing, one squeeze and its done! It's also nice there is no worry of accidentally shooting stuff back into his nose.I 100% would recommend buying this product!

I was not a big fan of this product but customer service was excellent. I have a 2 year old and a 6 month old. While this might work well on a newborn that has minimal snot, it did not work well on my 2 year old. When I used it on my 2 year old the boogers would get sucked in and then squirt out the middle valve (I bought 2 of them and it happened on both). In addition, it says 3 easy to clean parts which is not to true. There are 3 sections and then 2 very tiny valves that are very hard to clean and rip very easily because they are very thin, fragile plastic. On a positive note, the customer service was excellent!

much cleaner and easier nose asspirator
Of course, I am one of those moms that is always looking for a better nose clearing bulb for my baby because to me, every cold is just one of those things we could do without, smiles. Especially for a crying, unhappy, miserable baby which leaves to tired over cranky mother, smiles. I have used the graeco nose aspirator, the nosefree aspirator and of course the hospital type also. I like this one since it comes apart completely which makes cleaning a breeze. all the pieces come off and you can soak it in detergent and then put back together. I like it too because I am not having to try to hold baby with one hand, keep one end of the bulb in his nose and one end in my mouth and suck while struggle with a squirmy unhappy boy. I also like the battery one because it does help to pull out mucus and baby loves to help put it in his nose and play with the music. I always try to keep both of these on hand and will definitely order more both for our own use and for friends and family with babies!

product does seem safer and more comfortable than the syringe bulbs
If baby is actually stuffed up and has large quantities of mucus, it pours onto your hands through the air valve as you’re trying to clear baby’s nose! Gross. If that were fixed, product does seem safer and more comfortable than the syringe bulbs.

Doesn't work but excellent customer service.
Just doesn't work 😞Update: after my short (blunt) review, Matthew from the family business contacted me immediately and issued a full refund. I appreciated it very much, as I was not expecting that at all. I will be hanging onto this bulb for my next child just in case it was just not working for my son personally. It may not actually be a bad product.

A MUST for all babies!
This thing is AMAZING!!! I don't normally write reviews, but had to on this product. My baby is teething and has ton of mucus build up. Every night making it very hard for him to sleep at night or eat when his nose is stuffy. I was using the regular bulb syringe and my baby would move his head and the tip of that thing is hard and it would poke him and hurt. Then he would cry. Then he start crying everything I brought it out. Then I got this thing...keeping my fingers crossed and hoping he would tolerate it better. Well he did and he doesn't even cry when I put it in this nose and I squeeze it several times before removing and it removes a ton of snot!! I never knew I could get so excited to see so much mucus removed from a baby nose. He is breathing better and sleeping better. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
