Survival Nurse: Running an Emergency Nursing Station Under Adverse Conditions 1st Edition

This book gives you a brief look at survival nursing. It also references several books to use such as Where There is No Doctor and Ditch Medicine.

I have been to medical school and have training as a medical assistant and EMT. I was hoping to find more useful information. The author actually recommends creating fake prescriptions to get medications and doing other illegal activities. This book is useless. I found the books by a physician, Joseph Alton, M.D., far better, practical, and legal. Dr. Alton clearly states in his Survival Medicine book not to practice anything in his book until there is a true disaster and hospitals with medical staff are not available. Doing otherwise is practice of medicine without a license.

Received this book today. With my background and training in special operations, I was expecting a much better book then what is presented inside. I am very disappointed with the material content, it is basically a nice review, but it is lacking information throughout the book.Very, very disappointed.

Over the years, I have bought many of Ragnar's books. All of them are good, and this one is no exception. Keep them coming, Ragnar.
