I love these little pencil sharpeners. They are so cute and kid friendly. They do a great job sharpening pencils and as long as you don’t let the tray get too full, they can handle kids using them. My first grade students have access to these pencil sharpeners in my classroom and they work great. I am tempted to get a few of them.

Sharpens well and super cute. The dump drawer is a bit small, so I recommend cleaning it out after a couple of uses.

I purchased this for use in my high school classroom. The 40-year-old pencil sharpener doesn't work and has exposed screws making it a knuckle-laceration hazard. Plus, my students already have to fear being shot up in this gun-crazed country, so I might as well brighten their day by letting them sharpen the pencils (that I also bought) in the orbital socket of something relatively cheerful. This sharpener is fun and works really well. I only gave it 4 stars because the first one stopped working after 1 day. I got a replacement quickly and that one lasted the final month of school. Hopefully, I'll get at least another year out of it. If not, I would be willing to purchase again in a year because it wasn't super expensive.

Received this product yesterday and opened it right away. We had been struggling with an older battery powered sharpener that I've had since college (about 12 years) for awhile now and I had finally had enough. I didn't realize this one was a plug in, but that's fine. Very cute looking and a little larger than I thought it would be measuring about 4.5" x 4". My kids loved it right away. It's very stable with suction cup feet on the bottom. There is a toggle switch on the top back that you change the level of pointiness that you want, very easy to use. Just stick the pencil in and hold it still with slight pressure and the sharpener does the rest. You do not have to pull the pencil out to check if it's done, the sharpener stops automatically! This really works! The sharpening mechanism has a different sound than any I've ever heard, maybe the "helical blade"? And it's more quiet than our last one. The pencils come out perfect! We've only had a couple of leads break/fall off right after sharpening out of probably 20. The kids can use it, ages 3 and 6, with no worry that they will sharpen our pencils down to nothing (because it stops the sharpening when done) and they like that they can use it for their colored pencils whenever they want. The shavings bin is easy to pull out and empty. I would recommend and buy again!

I teach in a school where things get used pretty hard and this thing works well. The kids really think it’s hilarious that the cats eye sharpens the pencils. I also have students that will sharpen 5-10 at a time because it works better than the sharpeners in other classrooms.

Arrived on time packaged nicely, I love Everything about my cat faced sharpener and I will buy the panda one if it ever breaks , it fits all my pencils, even my luminance it has 2 sharpening settings blunt-ish and really sharp, has large easy to pull out tray ( cute mouth of the cat face ) and for my prismacolors if all quick hand sharpeners fail (and I have every kind) and of prismas just keep breaking as they do..... I use my kitty faced electric sharpener and it sharpens to extreme point fixing my pencil instantly. It’s my first electric so nothing to compare it to but i don’t know what I’d do without it I love it! Buy this sharpener u will be happy!
