Worked for QCopter QC1
After many hours on a several year old QCopter QC1, my motors became too weak to fly. These motors worked great as replacements. I'm happy to be back in the air. (Note that the older QCopters had soldered-on motors, so there is some soldering involved in the swap. If I had to gripe about something, it would be that the wires were too short to make it to the board so I had to splice into the existing wires.)

Great motors. Great value
Great little motors. I have ordered these multiple times and I have never had a motor failure. I can speak on lifespan yet but I have flown one of my micros at least 30 times and all motors are still working great.

Will work for the HS110D but you have 1 extra process in this swap.
The only thing I didnt like was how frail the wires are when stripping for solder. Have to be extremely careful.Other than that, I want to say that these are a little better than the stock motors I had on my HS110D.Also, its important to note that 8520 motors arent a perfect fit for this model drone. The originals are actually 8.6 mm in diameter and not 8.5.Easy fix though, cut a piece of electrical tape an inch long and apply it to the outer shell of the motor to make it fit snug. Corrects that .1 mm difference. Also, make sure that the tape side is facing the reducer gear, otherwise the reducer gear sits too tightly against drive gear. I'd recommend you change all 4 motors so that performance is matching on all 4 ends. I'll be buying more motors from Da Crazepony. Although, an increase in voltage is the only thing that will make your drone perform faster and not just a motor swap, you get an increase in torque and handling with this process. Youd have to change the parameters on the board to increase the flow of juice to the motors to make it faster.

Now what is listed. Motors that came have 0.8mm shafts. NOT 1.0mm
Motors function and run fine. But listing is wrong. Motors are listed as 1.0mm shaft when in reality its a 0.8mm shaft.

8.5 x 20 mm motors
Good motors.

Gives my whoop a lot of punch
I upgraded from 6mm and a 65mm frame to these 8.5mm motors with a 80mm frame and they sure do work better than the smaller one! These motors are so fast! I was able to keep a reasonable flight time and the motors came down cool to the touch. Default betaflight settings is what I used, with very little to tune out the normal "whine" you get with this type of motor.
