KVE Butchers Pork Scratchings 15 x 100g Traditional Black Country Favourites

You may look at the price and decide that's too much for 15 packets of pork scratchings however they are worth, they are not the small packs you can buy in the supermarket.These are without doubt the best pork scratchings I have tasted. I never got any of the 'burnt fat' taste other reviews mentioned and only a couple of them had hair on them. I mean a couple of pork scratchings, not a couple of packets. Also I only had one that was really dry inside, the ones that don't taste nice but you find them in almost every packet in supermarkets.The bags are big, decently sized with many scratchings inside it, not half a bag of air, and they are not too hard to bite into. The fat on them is soft and very tasty.I took a risk buying these for the price however I do not regret it and just bought my second lot.Highly recommended.

Delicious original scratchings but delivery was slower than stated.

Soo I kinda bought these cos I was craving pork scratchings one evening and when they arrived I was so happy, the quality is great, crunchy and soft, I love the fatty bits 😂 all in all fab pork scratchings I’ve pretty much been having a bag a day and I know that’s awful but hey ho 😂😂 gonna buy some more.Oh and they are quite salty but what’s the point of buying pork scratchings if you don’t like salty snacks right?!

Has always enjoyed kve for many years but this batch of scratchings for some reason are not very nice, horrible taste even the dog turned his nose up at them

Used to have these as a kid. Used to be really tough, you would suck them, bite on them and chew them. Fantastic. These are a pale version. Very fatty, not a lot of taste apart from salt. Even my dogs sniffed them before eventually deciding to eat them!

OVERALL THE PRODUCT IS CHEAP AND TASTY BUT FAR TOO MUCH SALT

Very disappointed after some good reviews. Writing this within a month of use by date and they taste rancid. Not sure if thats the accurate word but its what seems to match my opinion. The texture and crunch is good but theres a little too much fat attached to the pieces and I don't like that, especially when it doesn't taste good. The salt level is high but I like that. I'd like to think this is a 'one off' but I doubt it and I can't recommend this product for that reason. Would like to be proved wrong but I'm not willing to buy again to find out.

Decent sized bags, scratchings good and crunchy with just enough lovely soft fat.Definitely superior to the supermarket offerings.Only problem will be making them last......
