I am shaking my head over the great reviews on this litter mat. For one, it is a piece of foam and smells like rubber/tires when you open it up - literally stinks. My cats would not even walk on it, they did everything they could to avoid walking on it! It is spongy as well and I can say for sure if a cat urinates on it, it WILL be absorbed by the cheap material - yes it can be rinsed off but the urine smell will absorb into the material. I bet this cost 50 cents to make in China. I was furious when I saw what it was considering what I paid for it.

Works perfect! Used to have an old rug that would collect litter and my cat would jump out and it would go everywhere. This product is softer than expected and my cat enjoys the feel of it to make biscuits. Catches the fallout and easy to clean!!! The foldable aides are a good way to size out whatever area you need covered.

We use pine pellets for our cat. I was using just a cotton rug previously, so I decided he needed an upgrade to a real litter mat.First- it is basically a foam mat. It did have a slight smell, but it dissipated quickly and wasn't really a problem.Next- this did an ok job of catching stray pellets, but I actually found more pellets off the mat than with my cotton rug. Also, the measurements weren't as large as advertised. I can't remember exactly, but off by a few inches which was disappointing, because I wanted it to be bigger than my current rug, which it wasn't.The bad- it is not pee proof! My cat sometimes pees up against the edge of the box (we have the Breeze system) and it leaks onto the rug. When we came home one afternoon, the litter mat was sitting in urine. It had soaked through and was puddled underneath- it was gross! So my husband took the mat outside to clean off, and I commenced to cleaning the floor :(The worst- the pee smell never came out! We let it air out for about 3 days and it still smelled like pee. In the title this was advertised as waterproof, but I see now in the description it says water- resistant. Huge difference! I can attest to the fact it is definitely not waterproof. And as most cats eventually have an accident, I don't think this should be sold as a litter mat at all, because the first time it happens, the mat will be ruined. I will say that I have a super sensitive sense of smell, but I promise you, if your cat has peed on this and you think it washed out because you can't smell it, it is still there.A positive- I did like the sturdy but softness of the mat, and because of the folds it was easy to pick up and dump the litter back into the box. So for dry cleaning I think it did great, and if your cat doesn't miss the box (yet) I would say try it, but I will reiterate that it is a piece of foam, and at this price point I still don't think it is worth the cost.

This litter mat is better than I was expecting. It really does a great job of catching the kitty litter and doesn't have that rubbery smell that most of them do. It is foldable to make for easy clean up and the material can be cleaned as well for accidents. I wish it was bigger but we have one of the largest litter boxes you can get so it may not be an issue for most people. It also doesn't have anything to keep it from sliding around on the bottom. This allows you to use either side, but depending on where the litter box is, you may need to put a little bit of the mat underneath it to keep it in place. Overall, I definitely recommend the product, your kitties will thank you!

I had used other mats under my cat’s litter box prior to purchasing this one. They seemed to trap the litter in them and were a pain to clean out. I stumbled unpon this mat as the deal is the day and thought I would give it a try. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The foam bubbles catch excess litter that leaves the box when my cat exits. On clean up day, you can just take the mat and easily dump the collected litter into the trash bin. Now cleaning around my cat’s litter box isn’t such a chore.

Mat arrived on time and as expected. I was a little skeptical when I first put it down but it does work! It traps MOST of the little and my cat now wipes her paws on it when she jumps out! It has made a huge difference in the amount of little that I vacuum up. I wish it was slip resistant but I just put the edge of the little box on it and it seems to stay in place better. I definitely recommend this to ANYONE with feline friends.

This mat was helpful at first until my cat started peeing on the mat, and it was a nightmare. The mat will absorb urine, and the smell will stay even after washing it. I don't think this mat is waterproof at all as it claimed to be because I often found urine under the mat and the mat was usually soaked. I ended up throwing this mat away because it stinks and my cat won't stop peeing on it.

I just Got this and I can Already notice a huge difference. The cat litter stays on it and not all over the floor. Plus super light and easy to clean. Love that it’s bendable also very easy to pick up and clean litter off.
