Bad Air Sponge Odor Neutralant Neutralizes and Absorbs Odors 14oz (Pack of 3)

These have helped tremendously in my apartment. I live in an older building and older buildings have the smell of an older building. Combined with my cooking smells and my cat's litter box smells, my apartment was always a bit on the musty/smelly side. I hated it and had been trying to find something to help with all types of odors. I was tired of just masking the smell. The smell always hit me in the face when I would come home from work.I bought the three pack of these and a moisture/odor remover for under my sink (where the previous tenant let a leak go on for far too long and I was left to suffer with the mildewed wood). Within a day I noticed that the mustiness had nearly disappeared and now, a month later, I can walk through my front door each day and feel like I'm walking into a nice clean home.I have one placed behind (air intake side) an air filter that sits on a shelf near my cat's litter box. I have another on my fridge. I originally put the third in my bathroom but after a few days decided it wasn't necessary so I now have it in my car in the mid console tray area. It has helped my car smell nice and fresh (traveling with cats and gym equipment every day has left my car with some difficult smells). I'm no longer smacked in the face by smells every day and I'm no longer embarrassed to have people in my car or home.As others have noted, all of my containers had the black specks in them. After some examination, it is my belief that these black specks are actually carbon bits since carbon is used for odor absorption in many products. I think the reason some of the containers people have received have obvious black specks upon opening is because the containers were exposed to warm environments and melted which caused the carbon bits to settle wherever they happened to be and then when it hardened again they stayed there. It says on the label that the product will melt in fairly low temps and since mine were shipped during a very hot spell in CA, I don't doubt for a second that that is what happened. It doesn't seem to affect the effectiveness of the product at all.I will order again.

I bought this product because my husband’s bathroom absolutely stinks from his gym clothes that he keeps in a hamper, and the odor drifts into the hallway. We live in a high rise condo and do not have a basement or separate utility room, and when we once placed his sweaty gym clothes on the balcony, the wind blew them away. The Bad Air Sponge has only decreased the smell moderately, and we have to place the gym clothes hamper outside and burn incense if we have a visitor. I would not buy this product again, and for the price, I expected a lot more.

For a long time, I have used this product. It neutralizes odors like magic. The label is removable and there are two options for strength or degree of intensity. I usually have several in my apartment. Have found it optimal to place them in recessed areas such as bookcases. The slightly higher price is worth it.

Wow, put one of these in the laundry room near the cat box. At first there was a scent from the product, but it dissipated within a day or so and one month later, it's still clearing up the litter odor without masking it with another scent. Will keep these on hand. Also works well in the car to eliminate wet dog/damp garage odor.

This product works as advertised. We have a small 5 foot by 8 foot basement connected to our pantry that has always smelled a little off. We put the Bad Air Sponge in the room and the smell disappeared and both the basement and the pantry smells good now.

Really helps with smelly stuff!

Best ever. I open one of these in my basement and my allergies diminish. I write the date on the bottom. If I start having allergy issues I go to the basement, realize it has been at least 3-4 months since I put out the bad air sponge, I open a new one and all is well, again! I love this product.

Love this Bad Air Sponge. This is about my 4th order of this product . Dissipates bad oders! Will be buying again when needed!
