Overall, the camera is easy to use, and quick to set up, only requiring a micro sd card out the box, with all other accessories coming with it. After a single charge and a basic setup, it can be tested out the box. For the price, the screen quality is fairly sharp, the display sits flush with the screen, and there is minimal bleed from the back of the display, seen with other cheaper devices.The display resolution is also ideal for the price, you could pay more for a sharper screen but it would be unnecessary to requirements. The dash cam has all the usual features, and it's easy to switch between settings/modes. Camera pictures were relatively sharp, but in daylight, often overexposed, although the price has to be taken into account.Video quality- (4/5) - the video is taken by a wide angle lens, to capture the whole road, and is generally fairly good. There must be some image stabilization built in, as jerky areas on the road flowed relatively smoothly, and at no point was it hard to see what the camera was displaying. Images in general were displayed well, and for just 40 pounds, the overall video quality was great, and definitely enough for what is actually required of the camera. Also the audio was surprisingly decent, with most noises being picked up well.The timestamp on the side was also a useful and needed feature.Overall, this dash cam was great value for the price, and whilst the picture quality wasn't perfect, It's more than fine for what it's needed for

This dash cam has met all my expectations and I can therefore recommend it without any hesitation. I was attracted to it having compared it's technical specifications to many others before eventually making my purchase. The only reason why I have not given it 5 star ratings is because this is my first dash cam and I know that there are better alternatives, although much more expensive.I was able to start using it straight out of the box, after having bought myself a microSD memory card. The large touch screen adds to the ease of operation, along with the other labelled buttons. It can easily be removed and stored in my glove box, however I have grown comfortable with leaving mounted on the windscreen at all times.Although it comes with a rear camera I am happy to use only front one. For those who would prefer a more permanent alternative installation to using the cigar lighter socket, cables are supplied for connecting to the car battery.

This is my third foray into the world of the dash cam, something I have been looking at for a while after a protracted legal proceeding to claim back my excess after a no fault accident. It would have been a lot faster had I had the evidence of a dash cam. I now have one on every vehicle I regularly drive, even though this looks a little out of place on my MG B roadster.The unit sits unobtrusively on the windscreen, held in place with a suction cup mount. A power cable from a cigarette socket is providedOnce switched on the LCD display shows just what the camera is seeing. I was pretty impressed with this, the camera has a wide angle lens and pretty effectively sees what the driver sees, and a bit more. The image quality is very good as you would expect from a 12 MP 1080 p HD camera.I installed the 32 gb sd card (not provided) into the easily accessible slot and was good to go. Recording is a simple matter, and I particularly like the sensor that switches the camera on when the car engine is started and switches it off again off again when the engine is turned off. The recording is automatically on a loop, but you can alter the settings to change this. There is a G sensor to lock any footage of a crash from overwriting.I simply popped the card and inserted into my computer to download the images, there were no problems here. The recorded video was of high quality, and impressive in it's detail.The rear camera requires some professional installation - it needs to be linked in to the reversing lamp as well as the wire threaded through the car to connect the rear camera to the front camera. I have put it into a Citroen Berlingo, quite a long van like car and found the wire long enough. The rear camera is nice, and the view on the camera screen automatically switches to the rear view when reverse gear is selected. Very useful when parking in tight spots.In all this camera is very easy to use, easy to install and gives excellent quality footage for very little effort. 5 stars,

I have had couple of dash cam before but these were dash Front Camera for and found it very useful, once my son was driving my car and the footage from dash cam was what proved which insurance should pay.My last dash cam found its way to my Son’s car and I decided to look for a good quality front and rear cam. I wanted something easy to install and operate.I found this pretty good even for a technical retard!. I had no problems setting up, connecting and operating it. The price is a bit higher than others but as saying goes, you get what you pay for.I love the touch screen and the size of the screen , it has no lag and it is very easy to move from screen to screen. The resolution of the camera is very good , the video is crystal clear even in the dark and very easy to catch the car number plates. The wide angle of the front camera is excellent in being able to include all the lanes. Very sensitive motion detection, and of course the loop recording. Very easy to download files to the computer.It is one of the best on the market and I love this dash cam, the only thing I wish for any dash cam is to come already with SD card in place., one has to be super careful to insert the SD card into any dash cam and this one is no exception.
