Leaks Badly
Purchased shower unit and had installed professionally. Plumber/ installer had reservations from the initial install about possible leakage in and around door. He has years of experience and was concerned from the beginning about how the unit was designed.Unfortunately he was correct and the unit leaked badly (not just drips) around the door. I have made various attempts to put new molding in and around door and nothing works.

Headache
I ordered DreamLine Prism Lux 42 in. x 42 in. x 74.75 in. Frameless Hinged Shower Enclosure in Brushed Nickel and Shower Base I have an expert technician in every aspect of home building and shower installations etc that I have used on a regular basis for ten years and always has provided excellent work. This is the first time he has ever had an issue he couldn't resolve. So far its been two days straight and finally he says the manufacturer will have to come out to resolve. He followed the directions and placed the glass in the center of the shower pan edge and measured out all the specs and drilled out tile accordingly. When locking into place found way too much of a gap. When remeasuring to minimize gap he found glass would have to be placed more towards outer edge to minimize . He moved the glass more towards the outer edge of the shower pan to find it had minimized the gap but still too large of a gap and he is scared water may run under. He already went further than expected to edge of shower pan and still too large of a gap. He believes there is a defect in someway. Like I say has has always performed meticulous work and talking over the phone won't resolve this. Someone will have to actually inspect not a phone call type case as he is an expert and has tried all the possibilities. I sent an email to their support at Dream Line we will see how they respond to correct. It says may take up to three days to respond. Not good! Will update after there response!
