Fantastic backpack for hiking or cycling!
I bought this great Bonlex backpack along with a Freemove 2 liter water reservoir in July and have used it every weekend hiking, cycling and camping since then. My boyfriend has inherited all the backpacks I have tried in the past but that's over now that I found this one. There's only one pocket I forgot to photograph, and it's an open, expandable pocket just behind the Bonlex logo - oops. Anyway, here's what makes this backpack 5 stars for me: The water reservoir pocket is insulated; the waist straps each have zippered pockets that fit my iphone 5 (I'm a poor teacher) and probably an iphone 7; the smallest of the 3 main zippered compartments has a zippered inner pocket where my wallet and keys go, and there is a mesh net in its own zippered pocket that clips into the bag to hold your bike helmet or sweater. Other nice details include the well padded and ventilated back, the fact my Toshiba Chromebook has its own pocket within the main compartment, the orange emergency whistle integrated into the chest strap snap and the two mesh water bottle holders that snugly hold two 24-ounce bottles. There is also a smaller, vertical zipper on the very front of the bag where I keep tissues, toilet paper and hand sanitizer. The right backpack strap has a clip to guide a water bottle hose after you feed it under the reflective straps and the chest strap is adjustable for height and width. I'm only 5'3" and have the chest straps up as high as they'll go and it's not uncomfortable. There's a carrying or hanging strap on the back too, but I've never used it. And lastly, this bag has survived multiple washings in a front-loading machine 'cuz not all of us glow after hiking. I would highly recommend this Bonlex backpack if you prefer organized bags with lots of pockets. The only missing luxury would be a key lanyard, but my keys are fine in that inner, zippered pocket. If you combine this with the Freemove water reservoir also sold on Amazon, you'll be organized, hydrated and leak-free!

A very nice, offordable backpaack for hiking and biking.
I purchased this backpack for a week of mountain biking in Utah. Already having an excellent bladder form my backpacking gear, I specifically chose this one because it did not include a bladder. I used it both on a long day hike and for six days of biking up to 45 miles a day, and I found no major flaws with it. I even came off the bike on the 5th day, and although it absorbed a lot of my weight as I landed on my upper back, only one minor seam parted. This had no effect on the utility of the pack and was quickly repaired with a needle and thread. Overall, this pack served its purpose, and I plan on using it, from now on, as my pack for day hikes.Details: As a 6' tall, 220 pound man, this pack still fit me fine. The shoulder straps and belt had enough adjustment in them to make this comfortable. My ONLY comment is that on me, the belt pockets are too far back to be accessed with the pack on, and while I could reach behind myself and work a water bottle out of the mesh side pocket, there was no way I am limber enough to replace a bottle there without taking off the pack. Yoga might help, but I doubt it... The padding was soft, but for a pack this size, it was fine. The straps and harness contoured nicely with my body, and the back pads were comfortable, if a little absorbent. The back is not really designed to ventilate. This inside is organized into a bladder pocket coated with insulated reflective stuff, a large primary pocket and a secondary pocket. Each of these pockets has an additional sleeve, on e of which zips. There are also adjustable external places to stow gear. I was able to stay very organized and easily stow layers as I took them off throughout the day.The bladder hose exits the pack on either side over the shoulder strap. There is a retainer clip on the right hand shoulder strap that I found useful for riding. My 3 liter bladder made the pack a little tight with the rest of the load I was carrying (see note below) but I always drank part of this first.Loading: This was my load on the final day of riding. 3 liter bladder, FULL. I would store my chocolate bars in with the bladder to keep them cold. 16oz additional bottle. Rain pants and jacket. Helmet cover. Riding vest. Pack cover (not included with purchase). Lunch (a big one). Additional long sleeve top. Sunscreen. Folding brim hat, bandanna, and beanie. Electrolyte tablets. Mini first aide kit. Leatherman tool. The helmet net stored in a small bottom packet was secure enough to even carry an extra pair of shoes for hiking, or sandals for water crossings. Conclusion: This is a great pack for what I used it for, and it exceeded my expectations. It will become be my light day pack for hiking and travels, if I need to carry stuff for just myself.

Lots of organized storage
This is a solid hydration back pack. It’s got a ton storage in a compact size, plenty of pockets to keep things organized inside. The area for the bladder (which it does NOT come with) has a reflective metallic lining like a cooler bag. There isn’t much control for the bladder tip when it comes over the shoulder. I think one more loop to pass it through would be great but it’s not that big a deal.

Looks nice but cheaply made and poorly engineered
I have a similar Coleman bag that cost about the same, but lasted through hundreds of on-trail and off-trail hikes and mountain runs. The straps, zippers and plastic fasteners on the BONLEX pack are cheap and flimsy by comparison. The straps broke after a few short on-trail hikes. I did have it fully packed at the time, with a lot of weight, but still not acceptable. Had I been bushwhacking in the wilderness, this would have been catastrophic. The other issue I have is that there is no hole for the water bladder hose to go through, so the zipper constantly opens up. I solved this issue by using a twist tie from a loaf of bread to hold both zippers together, but it was still and inconvenience.Bag might be alright for someone who is more casual with their hiking who doesn't need to carry much gear.

This pack looks great! I’m a big guy and it still fits well! Lots of great storage! Needed package sooner than estimated and this wonderful vendor got it to me in more than enough time!!!

Does not have camel pack in it already
This back pack is a really good size and seems to fit comfortably. I do have a wide back and a big chest but it still snaps really well, the only thing I didn't really like is that it didn't have a camel pack already in it so I had to buy that separate

This bag will hold and keep cool a 3 liter bladder.
Good bag. Can hold quite a bit a stuff including a 3 liter bladder. Padding absorbs sweat and moisture well. Very comfortable bag to have on your back.
