looks can be deceiving
I bought this because of the good reviews and the low price. I have been juicing for years and wanted to have a slow juicer for a change as i like the centrifugal juicers but wanted to get more juice from the greens I grow. This juicer is easy to put together and does look good on the counter top. When it came to juicing this part of the process was okay, and was quicker than a slow juicer I have had in the past, however I did notice the juicing jug seemed to be getting filled very quickly given the amount of vegetables I had put in. I also noticed the pulp jug had not given out any pulp at this stage. I continued to juice and then came the pulp. I was very impressed with the pulp, it was very dry.NOW here is where the problems started after finishing juicing I poured the juice into a glass and I could see straight away it had a lot of pulp mix all the way through the juice. I started to sieve it and it was about 5 table spoons of pulp mixed in with the juice.I juiced about one and a half pints of juice. I thought well for the price I could probably put up with sieving it myself so I was okay with that given the amount that also came out very dry in the pulp jug. The next and not very good problem with it was the cleaning of it ,most of the parts to clean was fine except one and this was the basket at the bottom of the juicer where the juice and the pulp are separated. There was a big wad of pulp stuck in the this area and took ages to get out in fact I asked my husband if he would help because after a good 5 minutes of cleaning it I had to attend to his dinner. It took him 20 minutes just to get all the green fiber's that were stuck in it. This is what made my mind up as to return it. It is not free returns and I have no idea yet how much it will cost given the fact that it is 9 kg in weight so I will find out when I take it to the post office after they accept my return that is.I have to say it is such a shame because for the price it could of been a great juicer if not for the pulp issue and vegetables getting very stuck in the machineI contacted the company and they said to try using it again. I did and this time I alternated the watery fruit that is apple and pineapple with the greens like parsley and spring greens which was causing it to clog. By alternating them it did make a difference and did not get as clogged up and was far easier to clean. Yes I still got pulp in with the juice and I think I always will, but to be fair it is a good juicer in the fact that it does leave the pulp very dry- the pulp obviously that has not been mixed in with the juice. And the cleaning was easier to do . It is also a nice looking juicer and looks nice on the work top. Yes I am keeping it. And yes I do recommend it just be prepared to sieve it after juicing it if you want a pulp free juice, this only takes about a minute to do. For the price it is a bargain!!

Great slow juicer and even better price point all the functions of a £300+ model
The media could not be loaded. I am in love with this juicer. First of all the price point is amazing for a slow juicer that actually works. Less than £50 I had to give it a try but I will not be returning. I was considering the KitchenAid slow juicer attachment for their stand mixer but it had such mixed reviews and also it is £160 I am so glad I bought this slow juicer. The auger is nice and big and really seems to break down anything with ease. It can handle celery which is always a problem with slow juicers the givers can wrap around the auger and jam the machine but this has had no problems with celery and I have cut them to 3” pieces. Machine is nice and sturdy with a really simple and elegant base with practical and easy to clean parts that all fit nice and snugly together. I prefer that it’s a taller machine than the long wider models as I have a small kitchen and worktop space is limited so this is perfect. High quality juice. It doesn’t remove all pulp from juice but I just have a sieve over the jug Collecting juice to remove the smaller pulpy bits but I’ve seen most juicers come with a sieve but most people will have one in their houses. It also has a reverse function which is great to get the last bits of fruit and veg sitting around the auger that haven’t been fully ran through. This is a function I haven’t seen on a lot of juicers. Great purchase would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to get a great juicer but doesn’t want to spend upwards of £300. As you can see from my pictures the pulp to juice ratio is amazing this machine really gets all the juice out of your fruit and veg.

Horrible customer service
2 things made this experience a nightmare:- juicer poorly made...plastic bit snapped I couldn’t no longer use it. So wanted to order a replacement but cancelled the order. Despite cancellation I received the item.- customer service experience was below expectations. I had to pay the shipping costs. Imagine a cancer patient lugging a 9kg juicer. That was unfair!

It does the job
It's very heavy and a bit difficult to engage the top part, but I figured it out and it worked ok. A bit slow, but results worthwhile. Use machine for celery juice.

The answer
It’s broken so easy, I am wondering if you could replace it? I just bought this juicer 3 wee ago. I put the carrots as always, not too much and didn’t push it. Could you text me as soon as possible please.
