Small size, big performance.
Do not let the size and light weight fool you. This is well made and easy to use. Price is reasonable.

String buzz problem but still a good capo
I play a concert ukulele and love having a capo as my vocal range is somewhat limited. This is an ingeniously designed, visually attractive and well sized little capo. It's easy to play around, has adjustable tension, and it clips on and off so quickly! One problem I've been having, though, is that it causes string buzz on either the top or bottom string no matter how I adjust it. Tighter, looser, further off to any side, or moving closer or farther from a fret... nothing I do consistently ensures that no string will buzz. It may be that my concert ukulele has a slightly broader neck than a standard soprano but then again this is supposed to work on all ukuleles and banjos. Regardless, though, this capo is a billion times better than my old one so it's worth a little fuss.

Classic Shubb Design in lightweight, colorful Al
The Shubb design offers a great balance of convenience and adjustable tension. This version offers all the pluses (and minuses) of that design, in fun colors and an extremely light weight--for a small, lightweight instrument like a ukulele, the weight factor will be an extreme plus.

Sturdy, precise and stays out of the way
Ukuleles are hard to capo and stay in tune because of their small size. This one does a great job. It’s small size stays out of my way yet very sturdy. It was recommended by a ukulele blog as the best capo for ukulele and they were right. Easier than the spring loaded type. Very precise.

Great for Ukulele
I really like this capo. It's definitely worth a couple extra bucks for this one over the regular capo.

Just right for a 8 string uke
This isn’t my first one of this style capo but my first one for ukulele. I have a 8 string wanted to make sure I get something that will push the strings down tightly. It works pretty well even at 1st fret. The length is just right/enough for a ukulele. Looking forward to using this at the next gig.

Designed for ukes, and offers adjustable clamping force
This is one of the few capos I could find that was apparently designed specifically for ukuleles. I tried it briefly on my son's Oscar Schmidt OU2 concert uke, as well as on my new Moku MS-90TC Select tenor cutaway acoustic-electric uke, and it works as advertised. Although a spring-loaded clip-on style capo might be quicker to install and remove, I think it makes sense to go with a capo like this one where you can adjust the tension to be just enough, rather than clamping down too hard on the nylon strings and the little truss-rod-free neck. Although my experience is thus far limited, I would recommend this little ukulele capo.
