Righting a wrong.
I am writing this because someone left a misleading single star review for this product and they didn't even own one, see one, or touch one. A comparable entry level PCP rifle is the Maurader. To get the Maurader with an airpump is over $700. This .177 cal has a big brother, same setup just a .22 calibre and review after review touts it as one of the most accurate air rifles on the market, one stating that it is so accurate it's boring! Other reviews have put it over the Maurader. That being said, I am going to get the .22 varient, but when I do I will update thisto give my thoughts on build quality and give a real review.

Ignore the 1 star clown review
I also want to right the wrong of the 1-star clown review, when he has never even seen one, never mind shot one. There are 'actual' reviews on Youtube that all give this gun excellent reviews. It is innovative, convenient since the pump is built into it instead of lugging it around while hunting, well made, powerful with 25lb + of fpe, and very accurate. This clown doesn't understand that ratings are for products themselves, not how much info is posted on a very new product, because a person is too lazy to do a little research. The 1-star rating gives the false indication that the product is no good. This guy's rating should be removed. Everything I have seen says this gun is excellent. I do not own one. I want to be clear. But I have researched it thoroughly and intend to buy one soon.

I LOVE the "idea" of this rifle, yet, there are nearly NO hands on reviews, nor are the specs for this air rifle written anywhere in stone. In other words, this may be the best thing since a rifled barrel, but you would have a hard time proving it.And, for $400, it is not such a great "entry level" PCP air rifle when there are many other options today. Yes, they require a pump, but for the money, you have MUCH more evidence (reviews/ratings) for other air rifles than you have for this one.This is sad, as I would really like to own a Nova Vista Freedom, but neither American Tactical, nor the company itself has provided conclusive, accurate specifications of this air rifle.Dang!!!
