Excellent Waterproof Inkjet Decal Paper
Most bad reviews for this paper are because of not understanding the product. One of the most important features of this paper is that it does not have to be sealed! It goes right from the printer to the water. I use it for all my photo jewelry & accessories. A little trick to make it easy to apply is to slightly wet the surface to which you are applying the decal, which makes it easier to slide around. As in all my products, I put a permanent resin over all photo products to make them durable. It all depends on your product as to whether this paper will work for you, but in my case, there's nothing else out there that does not require the decal to be sealed first before applying. Lazertran used to make a waterproof inkjet decal paper but it's no longer available. So if waterproof is what you are looking for, this is the one to get. Also, any areas of your photo that have no color will appear transparent, showing the color of the surface underneath. It's also very easy to determine which side to print on; all you have to do is slide your fingers over the paper and it becomes quite evident.

Scratches the color off easily
I used it on a cup and it was all ok. But it doesn’t look too permanent. One little scratch and the color came off. Don’t know how long it will last. They don’t mention that we need to put any king of clear coat on it. I hope the company can update its directions or if not that then it’s description- it doesn’t really work like a decal.

disapointing
I use their waterslide inkjet products exclusively I decided to try this "waterproof series it has no identifier as to what side is the print side, no indication of which side is the backing. You must feel carefully for texture matte side is "just" a little bit smoother not good for someone with neuropathy in the hands. as far as I can tell, it's just sheets of paper

Beware, this is NOT white background decal paper
I ordered this because the description said white. All this means is that it is TRANSPARENT decals on a white background (vs blue). The paper is excellent, but sadly I must give a one star rating because this is absolutely not white background decal paper,

They LIE!!!
This is NOT what I ordered. What I ordered did NOT require I use any clear high gloss spray. The reason I ordered this one was because it said it DIDN’T need to be coated. I HAVE ASTHMA!!!

These are My Favorite!
Awesome decals and a nice replacement for Lazertran, I won't go back to buying Lazertran. Excellent customer service, excellent product. Easy to use with awesome results. Please stock more of these, they are my favorites! I absolutely LOVE that no overcoat is necessary. Thanks, Sunnyscopa!

Interesting for mixed media
I've only just got this and didn't have much time to play with it but it's certainly very interesting. I can confirm that the prints are waterproof! I don't even know how that's possible! I didn't even wait for an hour for them to dry as per instructions, only a few minutes. They slide off the backing very easily and I was able to stick them on mixed media backgrounds with gel medium. I know that's not its intended use but I'm always looking for interesting image transfer techniques, and it seems to work quite well. It's a bit fiddly once off the backing sheet, but I was able to apply it without too much trouble. It's not as fragile as you might think. If it curls onto itself, just put it back in the water and try again. I can best liken it to working with thin acrcylic skins. I had an intruguing reaction when I used it with a satin sealer - the print turned fainter, which didn't happen with the gel medium, so it seems to react to different mediums in a different way producing interesting results. I'm sure it will work great on glass as well - and perhaps on polymer clay! I've still got lots of experiments to do and this paper is a good addition to my arsenal. The only slight problem is that it costs £2 a sheet, so I don't think I can justifying buying it on an ongoing basis but I'll try to make the most of the 9 sheets I still have left over!
