Ringside Leather 100 lb. Heavy Bag - Filled

I'm into my 7th or 8th heavy bag over the last 30 years, 100 pounders. Not thinking out of the box I always stuck with Everlast brand. The problem isnt the body of the bag itself, its the hardware and stitching Everlast is using. After taking a pounding; swinging and swaying, the nylon straps wear and tear, rendering the bag useless. I stack and keep the dead soldiers. If I'd known Ringside was providing quality design and craftsmanship like this, I would've changed over a long time ago. It's simply just a superior product. Just look at the riveting and stitching. Even the hardware is forged to last. The 2" thick padding on the inside all the way round will get you to the "breaking-in stage" without traumatizing your hands in the process. I friggin love this bag, it's the best bag I've ever owned. I just finished 18 minutes a half hour ago, balls to the wall this bag is a definite upgrade and highly superior to Everlast, and it's leather, that's important. Well-done, Ringside. Important note, if you're thinking you'll save $80 - $100 choosing Everlast over Ringside, you're making a costly mistake and you'll retreat like I have.

Looking at other bags I thought that this was a good value and it is.Delivery was quick. Packaging came in solid, no rips or tears. And setting up was not that bad for 1 person.As you can see from the photos how the bag is suspended and supported. The chains are durable and I just need to add a bunnies cord to the bottom to stop the bag from swinging back and forth every time I hit it. Purchased this bag after reading one of the customer reviews. I used Everlast for years but my last heavy bag was junk. I literally tore the canvas straps as if I were tearing paper and the bag was only a little over a year old. This bag is very well made and the construction where the links on the top connect to the chains is heavy duty and looks like it will last quite a while. Break in period needed just like any other bag. Hard at first but just keep hammering away and it will get there. Not a big fan of red but this looks really good in person and a nice change of pace for me. I like it and have no regrets about the purchase.

The durable leather cover and overall bag construction will last me my lifetime. Ready to hang out of the bag as long as you've prepared an appropriate anchor for it. Beware that this is a very heavy 100 lb bag that can be tough on your hands if you're not used to it. I normally don't wrap my hands under my gloves, but after 30 mins my knuckles will begin to ache. That will be easily solved with wraps that are on their way. The price is on the high side compared to others, but you get what you pay for.

My son and I are both over 6'2" and well over 230lbs and it provides really solid resistance - especially when hung from a spring and the included swivel. Super-satisfying to punch. FAR superior construction compared to Everlast - which seems to be trading on name-recognition these days. Highly recommend.

Great bag, other than that it clearly states in the description, comes with “heavy bag chain and swivel,” that which it did not. Other reviews indicate the same issue yet the company has opted to not correct it. One star for dishonesty

Overall I really like this bag. The edges of the branding and mount points are a little sharp. I haven't ripped gloves or anything, but one punch did put a good scratch on one and if you're working inside there's potential to scrape a shoulder up. At the price point I've got nothing else to mention though. All bags settle over time and need some maintenance, so I don't really see an issue knowing thats part of owning a heavy bag. Dont expect super thick leather though.I also use the heavy duty spring with this because I want the bag bouncing around and swaying.

The bag did not come with the chains and swivel as stated in the listing. It’s 100 lbs which makes returning it very difficult. The brand new replacement bag was much harder on the bottom. The fill was uneven. I was very disappointed given that I heard such good things about this bag. Either the quality control at Ringside has gone downhill or their products are simply not made like they used to be.

I've only had this bag for a couple weeks but so far I'm liking it. Ringside used to be the best around but has gone downhill a little but still a better product than your department store variety. Great price for a leather bag. Not a fan where and how the logo is sewed on, I can see it coming apart after heavy use. Free shipping , you can't go wrong with this price.

Courier left it outside, didn't ring bell. The bag was wrapped in plastic inside a cardboard box. The bag arrived in good condition. The bag is well made and should last a long time. The Ringside 100lb Leather Heavy Bag is a solid, pro quality bag. I'm 195lbs, and this bag is a perfect size for me. Highly recommend Ringside bags. I have a maize bag and double end bag from Ringside and both are high quality.

Good quality bag. Comes with solid chains and a swivel. Added a heavy duty spring on top to dampen the impacts. Thus far very happy with my purchase.

Incredible quality, better than my local MMA/boxing clubs have.
