DinerWear Cravaat Adult Bib Dining Scarf, Stain Resistant, Machine Wash

I bought a pink colored scarf. It looks lovely.I usually spill soup - the liquid does not easily soak through to your shirt or top. You will need to hand or machine wash your scarf in a timely manner. Whether you machine or line dry - make sure you take it with you. Food stains can be almost impossible to remove.

gave it to my mother who needs a bib to eat but didn't want her to feel diminished by "wearing a bib." I put it on her tonight for dinner and she felt so special. It worked fabulous. The fabric is beautiful.

I have big boobs; very, very big boobs. They work great at protecting my lap from ever getting anything spilled on it. Sadly, they do this by catching every bit of food and every stain possible! With this cravaat my poor, abused shirts get a break from stains, and get to survive more than one wearing before they are stained too badly and have to be thrown out.This cavaat has super soft fabric that feels like the softest silk (which, thankfully I am not allergic to, since I have multiple chemical sensitivity). However, the fabric doesn't absorb spills so much as encourage them to stick where they land until shaken off. (Yes, it really is weird, but it's super convenient!) When you aren't using it, this cavaat just looks like a scarf that you could wear around town!I actually like this so much that I bought 2 more!Ok, why not 5 stars? Well, the main problem with this cavaat is that it needs something to help keep it closed over your shirt when using it as a bib. Just regular movement will open it up the middle in only a few minutes. I would love it if it had a few whole earth magnets inside that could keep it closed.Still the best of the 6 types of bibs that I could find here on amazon.

I bought 5 scarves which include all three sizes. For less careful diners, I would recommend large, or if you want to cover the lap as well. My mother loves them, we have all same pattern. We keep them handy in different rooms. No more stains on her lovely clothes. Lovely fabric, elegant. Will definitely be borrowing one myself when I eat spaghetti. Classy product and worth every penny to me to have my Mom looking good, and enjoying her meals without worrying about ruining her outfits

These bibs are elegant to slip on at a dinner to protect your clothing yet practical enough to use at home for meals that include easy spill textures. I don't like wearing food spilled down the front of my blouse for the rest of the day after I've been out to dinner. When you've soiled the scarf, simply wipe the dropped food off the bib with a napkin or WetOne and you are as good as new. Then fold the dining scarf and place into it's storage bag. Slip it in your purse, briefcase or the glove compartment of your car and you are ready to go. I now own four of these Dinnerware scarves. I keep them easily available both at home and when I travel. A great gift for a senior family member.

I got 2 of these for my Mom who has a large chest and is always dripping food on herself. In the past she has just stuffed a napkin in her shirt. I was worried she might be insulted, but instead, she was delighted with the idea and loved the patterns I picked.Now they just need to make a few more masculine patters, because my Dad is totally jealous! Maybe a plain black or plaids.

This lovely dining scarf is even lovelier than I thought it would be. The material is sumptuous and luxurious, and the back of the leopard print is a neutral beige print, should you ever wish to reverse it. It is extremely easy to place on: one long side of the scarf is curved a little bit, to fit around your neck, and then you place it together. The only criticism I have is that while dining out it kept separating on me and coming apart, so next time I will bring a brooch or pin to keep it closed and in place. It is so elegant and attractive that it could easily be worn as a "regular" scarf. And oh yes, it came in a beautiful chocolate brown shimmery organza bag! What a wonderful idea - nothing "clinical" about these! Thank you, DinerWear! Perhaps you could have a coordinating brooch to keep it in place?
