Grape Purple Gourmet Salt Water Taffy 1 Pound Bag

Good variety, good quality, great flavors. Does not arrive with a quartet of the taffy melted together like other brands. I buy this taffy often.

I was pleased with the assortment of flavors that came in the 5lb bag and with the freshness of the taffy. All of the flavors taste great! Will definitely purchase again.

I love Taffy and this is perfect in flavor and chewiness. Not cheap.

Ok, perhaps I'm biased having gone to high school in New Jersey with easy access to the Jersey Shore and all the tons of options for salt water taffy we had, but this, while good, is not great. For one, they have an odd assortment of flavors. I mean the salt water taffy staple... banana... the Big Mac or whopper of salt water taffy.... non-existent. How??!! But they do have 'chocolate' and some 'neopolitain-type' thing.Then they have something purple. It's not grape. It's not blackberry or blueberry. It's like if someone said 'What kool aid flavor do you want?' and they replied 'Purple!' ...and you dumped in a little too much sugar while making it.On the flip side, they do have an excellent peppermint, albeit it's all too sparse in the mix. A couple others are great as well, like the mint green that's ironically not mint. Don't know what it is, but I do like it. Go figure.All in all, it is good. It'll do in a pinch. All were soft. None were too hard or g*d forbid 'stale and crunchy' but they also aren't Jersey Shore quality either. Again, maybe I am biased, but aren't all reviews? Isn't that the point?All that said I ate a good three pounds of the five in the first week and a half because it may not be the best, but it's sure addicting! My dentist thanks me.

Coming from NJ and growing up on saltwater taffy from down the shore made me sceptical at first about trying this. But I'm amazed at how great all of the flavors are!! The flavors in this mix include watermelon, root beer float, green apple, banana, blue raspberry, cherry, grape, orange creamsicle, vanilla, chocolate, caramel, peppermint, cinnamon, neopolitan and black licorice!! I loved every flavor and can taste the quality. There's only two complaints I have though. The first is that the taffy is very hard!!! The way to solve this problem is by warming the taffy by holding it in your hand or putting them between your thighs to soften them with your body heat. If you don't do this first you're seriously risking ripping any fillings or crowns out of your mouth!! My second complaint is that the flavors aren't evenly distributed whatsoever!! Out of the whole 5 pound bag, I only received around 10 each of vanilla, cherry, grape and blue raspberry ☹️ Which was a bummer. So hopefully Taffy Town or Amazon will correct the issues that are causing this Taffy to be so hard and will distribute the mix of the flavors more evenly. They are not as soft as I was hoping. The flavor is okay but there is this saltyness to them that is just too much. Taffy is not supposed to be salty. Not sure what to do with this huge bag now. I can’t do it. If you want soft taffy that has great flavor, this is not that taffy.

Flavor is great & taffy is soft, but not too soft. Have ordered the peppermint several times & will buy again.

Arrived on time and well packaged. Individually wrapped is exactly what is needed for these covid times as most places won't allow items if not packaged so. They were part of a thank you for the nurses at a local hospital and were very well received. As good as any salt water taffy I have ever tasted.

A bit too chewy for my opinions, but maybe other people think differently. They taste really good overall. They came in good condition and were pretty fresh. I like that there is even more flavor from where I used to buy them. Decent prize. Interesting product. I reccommend

J’ai découvert ces petits bonbons à l’eau salée, aux Îles de la Madeleine, cet été et je peux plus m’en passer. Quelle joie quand j’ai vu qu’Amazon les offrait. Je trouve ke format un peu gros pourtant. Je dois en avoir pour deux ans, au moins. Mais,c’est bientôt Halloween! Comme ils ont enveloppés individuellement et de couleurs vives, les enfants vont adorer.
