Being a parent is a tough, often thankless, exhausting job. We don't always have the energy to be creative with our conversations at dinner/in the car/during quality time even though we want to be. Our Moments cards are just the spark you need to engage your kids in thoughtful, intriguing conversations that go way beyond "yes," "no" or "fine" answers. Often times you only need reference a few cards and before you know it, half an hour has flown by. My kids, ages 6 and 4 look forward to using the cards as does my wife. I plan to buy another pack (generations) to help my father connect on a deeper level with his grandchildren. The price might seem a bit high for a pack of cards but when you think about the time dedicated to coming up with all the questions, getting rid of the ones that don't work and then refining the wording for maximum effectiveness, the value is pretty great. The owner of the company seems like a good guy too, he followed up on the delivery of our package to make sure everything was okay and nothing was damaged in transit. Pretty good customer service!

We enjoy this game with our 5 and 8 year olds. The game is better suited for the older sibling but the younger one still enjoyed the questions and did his best. It’s a great game to get conversations started with kids!

I enjoyed the cards and found most of the questions engaging. I suggest reviewing them once to eliminate duplicates or any that may not suit your family. Overall, it was a great experience that led to an enjoyable time.

I've played this game with a tween and a teen child. Tweens are a hard demographic to engage. They are often too old for a lot of activities geared for elementary school-age children and they are too young for teen stuff. This game was a HUGE hit in my house. My tween actually brings the game and says "Let's play." I have learned so much about my child. We all know that teenagers know everything already so I was surprised when my teen wanted to play. I didn't expect that. We laughed, we cried and we talked about so many things I never even knew they were thinking about. It's really a nice way for parents to parent gently and to explain themselves if there is something to explain (like why I have screen time rules which they find unfair). One major benefit is that as a parent I really get a grasp on what my kids think of themselves. I can't recommend this game enough. Also, this is a game, I am gifting to all my friends who have children.

It was the perfect gift for Father's day. My dad's pretty quiet, so it was the perfect thing to get him to open up. My sister and I learned things about him we never knew, and our kids learned even more. They're all interesting questions that are fun to discuss, but without the occasion of the cards, no one's just going to ask.It's a great addition to a group video chat with the family. You can either take turns answering the questions, or split up the deck beforehand. You'll figure it out, but it's a fun family game.

I’m thrilled with these cards! I keep my 4 year old great-nephew 1 night a week and the following day. We got a few conversation cards with a meal and he enjoyed being asked the questions so much so that he pretended to read them back to me for my responses. He even asked follow up questions as I did to him. I was super excited to find this nice set of cards and can’t wait to have him here next week. There are appropriate questions for kids of all ages and it will be interesting to see how his answers grow and change over the years. I absolutely love this idea for learning more about his thoughts and feelings and for him learning to express them. Win, win!!

They used it on Christmas but lost interest pretty quickly once they got through half of the deck.

These cards are wonderful. I’m a child psychologist and I use the cards in sessions sometimes as well as at home with my kids. I have always used the “table topics” series, but the questions in “our moments” are far more superior. They aren’t just surface level but draw on more meaningful topics and result in a deeper level of communication. I’m planning on ordering the couples deck next! Thanks so much.

Our Moments is a wonderful & thought provoking way to engage with your children. I have two girls aged 7 & 8 & I have spent time with each of them using these cards to have the most wonderful conversations. I have discovered so many deep thoughts & feelings that my children have about different parts of their life.We are a really open family & we talk a lot but Our Moments opens up conversations that you may not have with your children everyday. The questions are relatable. Easy to read for young children and teens a like. Can hit some vulnerable topics especially if the family doesnt typically engage in conversation. Parents may want to preview cards and select a few to start with rather than putting them all out at once. I would encourage therapists who do family counseling to purchase this for sure. I have 20+ years in the field and am thrilled ith its versatility
