Q: Would i need to ph adjust my nutrient solution when using this for orchids and if so what is the recommended ph range? thanks!

You would need to know the ph of your tap water or if using distilled water either one. Also it would depend on what medium you are growing your orchids in. Are you doing organic or inorganic materials? I grow orchids in semi-hydro with leca and I do not worry about ph. If you contact the vendor they should be able to answer the ph value of their product. Most orchids prefer more acid conditions from what I have researched. You would need to research what orchid you are growing to get an idea of what they need. If you grow in bark or sphagnum moss both of them are already have a more acid content. Hope this helped you.

I am sorry as I have no idea if this can be used for hydroponic plants. I have only used it for orchids and it works great. I recommend you contact the manufacture.

I have been using it for about six months and so far have had no new buds appear; however, this is not unusual in the winter months. Sometimes my orchids only bloom once a year. I have six beautiful orchids with outstanding looking leaves but only one has bloomed and it has three flowers.

Q: can i use this fertilizer for african violets?

It's mild enough that it should be OK if you keep it off the leaves. I've used it on orchids with good results, but went with an alternate brand when Amazon couldn't ship it to my state anymore. If you have a lot of African violets, you'd be better off getting a fertilizer made specifically for them.
