POWERGIANT 14.4V 3000mAH NiMh Replacement Battery for Black & Decker PS140A A9262 A9267 A9276 A9527 PS3650FA CD14CA CD14CAB Firestorm

Haven't had it long enough to comment on it's lifespan but it's good value and fully charged has given me more than enough power for the jobs I've done, like fitting 6 window blinds and some shelving all in one day. The only issue I've had is a minor one, it's that the battery shouldn't be stored in the drill as it could be drained to below safe levels. This makes storage in the drill's case difficult.

The two batteries for my Black&Decker 14.v KC1462F cordless drill and KC1440SK circular saw, finally gave up the ghost after 13 years, so thought I'd have to buy a replacement drill and circular saw, till I looked on Amazon and saw these batteries with good reviews at a reasonable price...immediately purchased one on 18th May 2020 and used it as soon as it arrived 3 days later...within 2 hours of use I ordered a second one which lets you know these are the dogs kahuna's with an amazing amount of torque...I've just repaired some old Oak garden seats, which are extremely solid and heavy and although I'd pre-drilled part way through the back frame as soon as I started to screw the 100mm screws into the Oak armrest, which wasn't pre-drilled the powerful new battery just pushed the screws home with ease...if you have an old drill/circular saw like mine and need batteries replaced, look no further than to purchase these...

my husband can now use his saw, it was much easier to get the battery from a seller, than the information of what battery I had to get from the seller of the saw.It works well, thank you seller

I'm now reviewing this as only recently needed to use it. Bought march 2020.Once arrived... I initially attached it to the drill, clicked perfectly into place. Pressed the trigger. Brrrm brrrmmm... Great already pre charged... perfect, so used straight away. Then was left for a few months. Started to use again in June... still had charge.... I had some sanding to do (headlight restoration)....battery started to slow down after about 20 mins ish. Thought no problem will charge it.Using the original charger the battery was very tight to insert into the charger, wouldn't insert right in. Luckily I still had my old original battery. Tried that... slotted straight in no probs. Looked really closely at both batteries side by side... looked virtually identical... the replacement battery was ever so slightly bigger.I know I checked the spec to ensure I ordered the right one for my drill. As it fitted perfectly and was used.A real shame it didn't fit the charger properly, so was unable to charge it up.So I contacted Amazon to return and they have accepted and refunded without question. THANKYOU.such a shame... had to buy a new drill set... almost twice the price of the replacement battery... but it's all new and I've stuck with the same brand. As I bought the previous drill and battery nearly 15 years ago... it was well used for 13 of them.

not as powerful as the original

In 2018 I unearthed my old, but almost unused Black and Decker Firestorm cordless drill, but unfortunately the battery was dead. Black and Decker no longer make batteries for this model, so I found this replacement from Powergiant and decided to try it. It fits my drill perfectly and his given my drill a new lease of life. It has been used a lot since 2018, and I decided that it would be sensible to by a second battery to rotate with the first one. The second one also seems excellent. I would recommend these batteries.

It works very well and my Black & Decker screw driver returned to life. Shame a charger light is missing so I don't know when it is fully charged. 4 starts

Replacement battery for tired Black and Decker drill.Could’ve got a cheap new drill for similar money but this was definitely worth it.
