At first I thought this was broken because I turned it on and nothing happened. I put it up to my ear and could hear the fan turning inside it, but it was barely audible. As I was looking at it and trying to figure out what could be wrong, it gradually got louder and louder until it was the appropriate audible level that a noise maker should be at.It works perfectly and has a really calming fan noise. Just make sure you give it a minute to make noise.I love it!

Great machine for light background noise. This machine has a 30 or 60 minute timer or can be left on the whole evening with no problems. This machine will allow you to adjust the noise levelHigher or lower depending on what level is needed. I found the more I used this the quicker I was falling asleep and staying asleep. Also appreciated the two USB ports for phone charging!

This is a "get what you pay for" product.The white noise produced is eventually nice, but barely audible for a few minutes after power up, like the fan is very very slowly (for minutes) easing into its full speed. As other reviews have stated, it has a plastic/chemical smell when it is first turned on so I left it running for a couple of days to clear it out. This sound machine seems to be built well. It has a 30 and 60 minute timer which is great when you don't want to chance waking your baby by entering their room. There are two different sound volume settings which can also be adjusted my rotating the outer cover. It makes a sound similar to what rain hitting your roof sounds like, kind of like a roaring sound. It works, my little one falls fast asleep with it. My only complaint is that it only has one sound.

It wasn't a horrible machine but theres so many things i didnt like about it. It has to be plugged in at all times which doesnt work where i sleep, The sound takes quite a long time to warm up so you have to turn it on for awhile before deciding how loud you need it. and it only has 2 options for the loudness. Now it didnt work for me, but i know others who have it that don't hate it like i did

Was recommended to try a sound machine to help me sleep at night. This has been perfect. It has preset buttons, where it will stay on for 30 mins, 60 mins or indefinitely. It also has a low level and a high level. The cord is a good length as well. I have slept better since I have been using this.

Total waste of time and money, makes no sound at all. You can feel the motor running if you put your hand on the machine but makes no sound/noise no matter what. Sending back for refund.
