We bought this when our 500$ air conditioner stopped working and after we realized the safty plug was burn out and no longer had a current connection. All I had to do was cut and strip the wires off the old safty plug, align the 3 cords with the corresponding wire holding screws on the new plug, and adjust the rubber bit and screw down the connector on to the wires to clamp them in place. Air conditioner has been running all summer long with no issues! :D

As you can see in my first 3 pics, my old plug was severely bent and the power washer quit working. We may or may not have ran it over with the car. Oops!! We have a Greenworks power washer. I was thinking I would have to get a new one, until I stumbled on this plug replacement. I’m not an electrician or know much about replacing cords so I was hesitant to switch plugs. As you can also see, my old plug doesn’t have a ground and this new plug does. After watching a few YouTube videos, I realized how easy this repair was! Even I could do it! Everything you need is in the package. You unscrew the bottom 2 screws of the old plug to access the wiring harnesses. You unscrew the wires from the old plug. In the new plug, you unscrew the 4 screws at the bottom to access that wire harness area. It’s very well marked which wires go where. Black, white, and ground are all marked. Because mine doesn’t have a ground, I didn’t have a wire for that prong. I screwed in my wiring from the old cord into the new plugs wire harness. I kept my old rubber “plug” on the cord that fits into the base of the plug casing. There is one that comes in this packaging but I saved that in case mine were to split someday (or we run it over again 🙈). I finished by screwing on the plate for the new plug. Crossed my fingers I didn’t burn the garage down when I turned it on. Pushed the on button for the power washer and it worked perfectly! I didn’t burn the house down! Yay!! Super easy repair and I don’t have to buy new one. Double win!

This plug worked perfectly to replace the factory plug on an Intex 26651EG 3,000 gallon per hour sand filter pump. Very easy to rewore back up. Everything is marked on inside of this plug as well as old one. Excellent product.

Good product, works well. Holes for cover plate screws too short. Had to drill a little longer. Otherwise, no problems

This plug is well built and work great.The old plug on my pressure washer would not reset so I installed this one. The pressure washer is back to working great now.
