UHU45865 – Max Repair Power, Tubetto da 8 G

It's been a month since I repaired the sole of my training shoes and so far the repair is holding up very well.

Uppers were fine, but soles worn, so I used this to glue on rubber sheeting (made especially for shoe repair) to soles and heels:Works well, but make sure you do good prep, and use in a well-ventilated area, as the solvent fumes are quite strong.• Rough-up the surfaces to be bonded.• Join and then separate surfaces, and allow a minute or two to become tacky.• Join and clamp firmly, clamping or as much as the join area as possible (I used several small stamps per shoe).• Allow to cure for at least 24 hours before unclamping.

Works excellent for repairing split leather/rubber sections on shoes provided they are cleaned and dry before application.Creates a durable fix.

It’s good but when putting on shoes it does not work maybe for an hour max. So had to refund but I didn’t have to give it back and still got my refund issued and money back

Gluing 45 year old rubber to metal in harsh environment, exposed to weather, submerged in water and engine vibrations.The bonded rubber support had broken.I was advised to use an appropriate UHU glue.After one month it’s still doing the job.I didn’t think it would hold, but it does.All you need to do is to follow the instructions.

Avoid, I tried this on my safety boots, it did nothing, waste of money

I can't fault the glue because it's one of the best I've used for repairs including rubber pads (cameras and other items). This sticks better then contact adhesive does, and it's dry in a few hours.Very durable water resistant and heat resistant.But you need to be careful to clean the tip, one I bought glued itself on and broken then I tried to take the cap off. No matter how careful you are there is always some glue, and it's hard to remove as it's quite thick/sticky (obviously as it's glue!)

Dieser UHU Max Repair schafft es irgendwie: im konkreten Falle hier ein abgebrochenes Stück Gusseisen an seinen Platz zurück zu fixieren, Es ging um die Boden-Halterung eines gestandenen Elektromotors, da war ein "Bein" deutlich bruch-beschädigt. Nun leistet es wieder seine stabilisierende Aufgabe, natürlich helfen 3 noch intakte Beine dabei mit. Der Kleber trocknet nach 24 Stünden zu einer kompakten Kunststoffmasse, die sich innig mit den Klebeteilen verbunden hat. Diese Masse füllt auch Spalten und ungenaue Übergänge auf und erstarrt dann. Bin sehr zufrieden.
