🎶 Unleash Your Creativity with the Merger!
The MIDI Solutions Merger is a 2-in 1-out MIDI Merger. All MIDI messages appearing at the two inputs are merged to the output. All MIDI data types are merged, including System Exclusive and MIDI Time Code. A fast merging algorithm insures that the MIDI data is processed with minimal delay.

Great device, not all MIDI devices can power it though
Big change to my review here, I previously thought it was damaging my devices.I emailed their support and they were quite patient with meand explained what was actually going on.What happens is some MIDI devices provide marginally lowvoltage so they can only intermittently power the device.I had trouble with the Alesis Control Pad and the Roland HD-3.After their explanation, I found with both my devicescan power it if I am a bit patient. I have toplay a while and it will eventually come on, and onceit is on it stays on just fine and works perfectly. It's only after I power down, it takes a bit of patienceto get it to power back on.I know many people (on a drum forum I hang out on) who haveused this device with many other MIDI devices without any trouble at all. They also sell a device that will power it correctly if yourdevice can't. I may need to get one now that I know what is going on.

It works
I bought it to merge two midi in’s to one out, so that i can manage these with the Squarp Pyramid MK2; works like a charm.

MIDI Solutions Merger works as advertised
I have not used the 2-input Merger for very long. However, I hooked it up to connect two keyboards into one voice harmony module and both keyboards now control the module. Also, both keyboards can be used at the same time and the MIDI Merger still transmits the proper information from both units to the voice module. Exactly what I hoped to accomplish. There has also been no issues with the unit powering from the Korg Tritons that I am using. Consider me a happy camper.

Extremely useful and works great
Extremely useful and works great.NOTE: the image and description are incorrect - this device has TWO outputs (essentially a 2-1 merger and 1-2 thru in the same device). I have two keyboards and two synth modules connected to this device; by changing which midi channels the keyboards are set to I can have two keyboards controlling a single module (like a two manual organ) or each keyboard controlling its own module. This is exactly what I was looking for.

Solid performer, but make sure one midi source has power
The midi merger did the job. The only issue I see is that it depends on getting power through the midi connector from one of the midi sources. Some small-ish keyboards put the midi signal out through a mini TRS connector which may not supply the power that the Merger requires. If the other device supplies power, then you're good. If not, you may have to work out using a powered midi interface to get power to the merger.

Very well made and easy to use
Very well made and easy to use. Connect two midi inputs and merge them into one. Works great for merging a Midi Pad controller and keyboard to run a sound module. The devices can be on different midi channels.

No batteries or PSU needed
I have a few synth rack module where I need to merge clock from my drum machine and notes from my keyboard. This works perfectly. Only downside is that some newer Midi gear does not put out the standard 5V and will not power this device. All my older synths work fine though.

Works Flawlessly
Used to combine the midi signal from two Roland TD-11 drum modules into one midi signal to send to my Xbox for Rock Band.
