Fun and exciting!
What a book! My daughter aged 6 loved this book! Every page brings fun and adventure! The lift the flaps makes it even more funny! Can’t wait for more books from the author of no Nancy no!

Fantastic!
Such a beautifully written and illustrated book, the kids just love lifting the flaps looking for cheeky Nancy and Roger! Every time we read it we seem to find more lovely hidden details. A must for kids who love a trip up to London – so good we've bought the next book, 'A Seaside Adventure' which we'd highly recommend too!

Lots of flaps, lots of action and lots of fun
This is an extremely well made lift the flaps book about a small girl's trip to London accompanied by her more sensible dog. Nancy discovers a lost teddy and follows the children to whom it belongs through the city and via the main sights until she is able to reunite it with its owners. As she goes along Nancy behaves very badly and it is up to her dog Roger to remind tell her off. The book has no adults as main characters but in every place they visit people who work or live there (and when I say people I am also including penguins) start to chase Nancy so that when she arrives at the end of the book there are a large number of people who are all placated by a tea party. In many ways this is a delightful book. The flaps are many and always reveal something interesting. The illustrations are well done and the sights are recognisable. There is lots to look at on each picture and some lovely little details for the adults as well. Nancy commits crimes of vandalism and theft but they are amusing and Roger is always there to remind us that this is not acceptable. The text is good to read to children and allows you to read out loud well and an early reader may be able to decode some of it although it does use a font with serifs which is not as easy as other alternatives.I did have some reservations about the damage that Nancy does on her trip and what she gets up to because I wouldn't want to encourage children to think that painting on things or invading the animal enclosures at the zoo is somehow funny or acceptable. I think that the book just manages to make this enough of a fantasy to prevent this happening. My other issue with the book is that it is not very accessible for small children who may not know about London or not be travelling there although I suppose it would make a good beginning of a discussion about teh capital and what is there - it would be ideal to read just before taking a child to London.Overall, I thought this was a good book and I especially liked how many pages and flaps you got. Thank you to Walker Books who gave me a free copy in exchange for a review.

Fun book
My first name is Nancy and I went to England this year. I bought No, Nancy, No for our grandsons (ages 7 and 3) and they have a lot of fun following the shenanigans of Nancy in the book. They shout back to her, ‘No Nancy No’!

Love this book!
Picked this book up in London in May 2022. Fun story about Nancy and Roger’s outing in London. It includes great pop-ups of London attractions and the royal family. When our 21-month grandson saw it at the bottom of a stack of travel books, he pulled it out and asked me to read it to him. We enjoyed reading it together so much that I ordered a second copy on Amazon so each of our grandchildren will have one. The last page has photos of Nancy and Roger. I explained to our grandson the difference between photos and drawings. Then, I pulled out his crayons and drew the bus on the front of the book (starting with the wheels). Our grandson pointed out his truck, and I used his crayons to draw his truck. Black wheels that go round-and-round are popular with his age. Great book! It had become a family favorite. 😊
