I have a 16 x20" canvas painting which is 3/4" in depth. Going by the written description my painting should have fit with ease. Well, even without the back cover it was still an 1/8' shy. If I wanted to use the back cover (which I do) the frame will hold 1/2" depth canvas maximum. On my notes while placing the order I made it very clear that I don't want the frame if it won't take 3/4" while using the backing. I was told they would not cancel the order. I'm grateful I had a 16X20" 1/2 " print that needed a frame. Buyer beware. J.H.K.

Excellent product But be sure you are absolutely positive this is the product you want. If it has to be returned this company charges 15% restocking fee less shipping cost so you may as well keep the frame.

I would change nothing about this frame. It fits my painting beautifully, and makes it look like it’s hanging in a gallery.

This is a nice frame, but it arrived with an obvious gauge on the side. I can't figure out how someone processing the order missed seeing it before they put it in the box to ship. As soon as we removed the plastic wrapping, we noticed it. I will reorder this product again based on the reviews as it seems I'm one of the few people who has received a damaged frame. The frame itself, had it not been damaged, was perfect for our needs. It has clean lines and is sturdy, with easy hanging and clamping attachments.

I did not like the predrilled holes. For me it would've been better if I could have drilled them myself. They ended up taking a number 12 screw, which is over kill for this size (20 x 16 in.) frame. Also, my canvas did not fit very well, but I managed to make it work. I'm not sure I'd repurchase this frame with the predrilled holes again. The quality was good and it looks nice. However, the holes messed it up for me.

I ordered this frame for one of my stretched canvas paintings. The price including free shipping through Prime, was so much better than other online frame resources. The canvas fit superbly. It was packed very well and I am using the same box and packaging to send the finished painting to the client. The corners of the frame were very solid and the mechanism for seating the canvas was excellent. My only disappointment was that it only came in the color black. (would have liked a bronze or brown option)
