GEM CPAL4 Aluminum Head Push Pins, Aluminum, Silver, 1/2" (Box of 100)

Sharp as a tac .... more like needles, ouch! I use these for holding stained glass in place. they work great and have taken a beating.

Okay, they work. Amazon's shipping was atrocious. Little tiny box of pushpins shipped inside an enormous box. The pushpins got loose inside - the box sounded like a half empty box of Fruit Loops when I shook it.

Before I bought these, I thought the two negative reviews of the 3/8" pins were overly picky, but now that I wasted $6, I agree with them. These cheap ones are just not as good as the Moore pins. I wish I could post pictures, because I bent about 10 of the Advantus pins, trying to get them to go into a wooden window molding (the Moore ones I bought locally went right in, no problem). The "pin" seems to be much softer and weaker metal than the Moore brand pins, the head is smaller, and some of the pins are made crooked. Acceptable only for soft corkboard, if you don't mind your hands getting dirty when the finish comes off on your fingers, which it will.

Pins are not bad but the packaging was crappy. The pins were sticking out.

These don't quite look like the picture. All the pins I received have a fair amount of flashing on the handle part. The color is really kind of a dull gray, not shinny - not that it matters, their just push pins. The pins are straight and sharp, they work great. If you want them to look like the picture you may be disappointed, if you want a good strong push pin and don't care about the finish, they work great. I needed these for an art project and appearance was important, but a little extra clean up on my part fixed the issue and they worked just fine.

Great Product and Great Service .

Compared to the standard push pin that I am used to (I'm an architect) this one is sub-par. The head is smaller in diameter and shorter, harder to grasp when pushing into a pin-up surface or stack of papers.In many of the pins and the heads are not aligned, so when pushing in, goes in at a slight angle.May work for some people, but I use push pins a lot, and I need them to be better.

More "useful" than plastic w/metal tip. As well as being "sharper" and easier to insert. They are manufactured in two tip lengths (1/2" & 7/8"). They may cost a little more than plastic. But I find more uses for them. Plus they are more rugged.

These pins are matt finish and not polished as shown, however they are still very nice and very sturdy.I would recomend, postage takes longer than normal as they are shipped from the USA.

Otherwise good. Way better than the common plastic tacks that break.

Sturdy pins, perfect for repeated and robust use.
