Q: What size is the barrel?

The barrel of the brush (Cricket Static Free Brush Rpm, 8 Row) not including the bristles is 1/2" (half an inch). Including the bristles, the diameter is 1.25" (one and a quarter inches). I wanted a really small barrel and this works for me. I have a pixie cut and I use the brush with damp hair to style back my short "forelock" when I want it back.

Q: What makes this brush static free?

I have no idea how it is static free but I won't use another brush. I have two because I misplaced one for a short time. I have bought these for my nieces and friends who LOVE it.

Q: Will this help curl the sides of your hair? Also bangs?

I think so....as long as you have short hair. I think if your hair was long it would get tangled up.

Q: What size are the barrels on the rpm 8 and rpm 12x
