I bought this to help me take out staples when I was recovering my dining chair pads. This tool really speeded up the job of removing the old staples and cut my time in half. I still had to use the corner of a flathead screwdriver to her the removal process started, as they had been there for 50 years and were in there solid. So the metal tip wasn’t quite as strong as I had needed, but the lip it has on it to help catch the old staple as it comes out, was a huge help. No more staples on the floor!
